SayPro Welcomes Sakhiwo Kweba from Citizen in the Kingdom of God to Capacity Building Training for NPOs Programme

Centurion, South Africa – 24-26 June 2025

SayPro is honoured to welcome Mr. Sakhiwo Kweba, a dedicated leader from Citizen in the Kingdom of God, at 19 Pitta Street, Rooihuiskraal, Centurion, for the SayPro Capacity Building Training for NPOs Programme, taking place from 24 to 26 June 2025.

This important event is part of SayPro’s broader mission to strengthen the capacity, sustainability, and effectiveness of nonprofit organisations (NPOs) across the Southern African region. The programme convenes representatives from faith-based groups, youth-focused organisations, community-driven initiatives, and civil society stakeholders for three days of intensive learning, networking, and strategic collaboration.

Honouring a Valuable Participant

Mr. Sakhiwo Kweba brings with him a wealth of experience in grassroots mobilisation, faith-led development work, and youth mentorship. As a key figure within Citizen in the Kingdom of God, his work exemplifies the positive impact that spiritually grounded leadership can have on community transformation.

“We are thrilled to have Mr. Kweba with us,” said SayPro Programme Manager, Lindiwe Makhetha. “His voice and vision resonate with our commitment to creating spaces where values-driven leadership and practical skills go hand in hand to effect real change.”

Programme Highlights

The Capacity Building Training covers critical areas of nonprofit management and development, including:

  • Governance and Compliance: Equipping NPO leaders with knowledge of regulatory frameworks, governance models, and ethical leadership.
  • Resource Mobilisation and Fundraising: Exploring innovative strategies for securing funding, donor relations, and sustainability planning.
  • Digital Transformation for NPOs: Leveraging technology to streamline operations, improve communication, and expand digital reach.
  • Youth Empowerment and Community Engagement: Focusing on effective programme design, partnerships, and advocacy techniques to engage youth in meaningful ways.
  • Monitoring, Evaluation, and Impact Measurement: Teaching organisations how to measure success, report outcomes, and continuously improve.

Building Stronger Communities Together

This year’s training programme is more than just a learning platform—it is a call to action for all participants to take leadership roles in their communities. SayPro believes that by investing in the capacity of NPOs, especially those working with youth and vulnerable populations, it is investing in the future of Southern Africa.

The event also includes breakout sessions, panel discussions, and case study reviews designed to promote peer learning and the exchange of best practices among organisations.

A Step Toward Lasting Impact

As the training progresses, SayPro is confident that participants like Mr. Kweba will leave not only with enhanced skills but also with a renewed sense of purpose and a strengthened network of allies in the nonprofit sector.

The presence of organisations like Citizen in the Kingdom of God ensures that this event reflects the diversity, faith, and resilience that define Southern African communities.

SayPro extends its sincere gratitude to all participants, trainers, and supporters for making this programme a success. Together, we build stronger institutions, empowered leaders, and thriving communities.
