Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Oversight:
- Lead the preparation of necessary documentation for new course submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all syllabi, course objectives, and instructor qualifications are aligned with accreditation requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance checklists to monitor the accreditation process.
- Course Development & Accreditation:
- Oversee the development of new courses, working closely with subject matter experts to ensure alignment with industry standards and educational requirements.
- Ensure that all new courses comply with the guidelines set forth by the QCTO and other relevant accrediting bodies.
- Coordinate the submission process for the QCTO New Course Upload Report, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and other internal stakeholders to ensure that course content, objectives, and assessments meet the highest standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for any questions or issues related to the accreditation process, providing guidance and support.
- Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the accreditation process for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Implement improvements to streamline documentation and course submission processes.
- Stay informed about changes in accreditation standards, ensuring that all course offerings remain compliant.
- Reporting & Documentation Management:
- Ensure that all course-related documentation is properly stored, organized, and readily accessible for audits or further review.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on the progress of the new course submissions for internal review and external accreditation.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Research, Business Administration, etc.).
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior research, academic, or accreditation role, with a strong understanding of the QCTO accreditation process.
- Strong experience with the development, documentation, and submission of course content for accreditation purposes.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of QCTO guidelines and accreditation standards.
- Strong analytical skills to assess compliance and quality assurance.
Preferred:
- Experience with higher education institutions or vocational training environments.
- Familiarity with accreditation software or systems used in course submission.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Occasional travel may be required.
