Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the curriculum design team to ensure all courses are thoroughly prepared before submission to QCTO.
- Facilitate effective communication between the curriculum team and other internal departments to ensure alignment in course development and submission.
- Course Preparation & Documentation:
- Oversee the accurate preparation and documentation of new course materials, including learning outcomes, content outlines, assessments, and other required materials.
- Ensure that all course documents meet QCTO standards and any specific guidelines or regulations that may apply.
- Submission & Compliance:
- Manage the process of submitting new courses for accreditation to QCTO, ensuring timely and complete submission by the designated deadlines.
- Monitor and track the status of submissions and address any feedback or requirements from QCTO to achieve successful course approval.
- Research & Analysis:
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, standards, and regulations in education and accreditation processes.
- Conduct research to identify opportunities for improving course design, submission procedures, and overall effectiveness of the accreditation process.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all new courses meet the highest quality standards in terms of content, instructional design, and learning outcomes.
- Implement internal review processes to verify that all course materials are thoroughly checked for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with accreditation standards.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including QCTO representatives and other regulatory bodies.
- Work with internal departments to ensure that all requirements for accreditation are met promptly and effectively.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and submit reports on the progress of course submissions, including timelines, completion status, and any challenges encountered.
- Keep detailed records of all correspondence, documentation, and changes related to course accreditation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A master’s degree or higher in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior research or academic role, particularly in the area of course design and accreditation.
- In-depth knowledge of accreditation processes, preferably with experience related to the QCTO accreditation system.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple course submissions simultaneously.
- Proficient in using software tools for documentation, project management, and data analysis.
