Job Description & Tasks:

Position: Brand Designer – SayPro Monthly Posters

Location: SayPro Marketing Office

Job Overview: As a Brand Designer at SayPro, your primary responsibility will be to create high-quality, visually engaging posters that align with the company’s established brand identity. You will collaborate with the SayPro Marketing Royalty team and work closely with the SayPro Brand Material Office to ensure that each monthly poster maintains consistency with the company’s brand standards. You will be tasked with overseeing the entire design process, from content gathering to final publication.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Guidelines Review:
    • Ensure Consistency: Before embarking on the design process, thoroughly review SayPro’s established brand guidelines to ensure adherence to the company’s visual identity. This includes:
      • Logo usage: Ensuring correct placement, sizing, and clear space around the logo.
      • Typography: Using the designated typefaces and ensuring proper hierarchy and readability.
      • Color schemes: Aligning with the approved color palette to maintain uniformity across all materials.
      • Graphic elements: Utilizing approved design elements (icons, patterns, textures, etc.) that complement the overall brand.
  2. Content Gathering:
    • Collaboration with SayPro Marketing Royalty: Work closely with the SayPro Marketing team to gather content for the monthly poster designs. This can include key messages, images, and promotional materials related to specific campaigns or events.
    • Content Accuracy: Ensure the content provided is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to the target audience for each month’s theme.
  3. Poster Design Creation:
    • Design Posters: Develop creative and engaging poster designs that align with the SayPro brand identity. Consider the following:
      • Layout and Structure: Design layouts that allow for easy flow of information and strong visual appeal.
      • Visual Hierarchy: Ensure the most important elements (headlines, key messages, etc.) are prominent and easy to understand at a glance.
      • Use of Imagery and Graphics: Incorporate high-quality images and graphics that complement the message and overall design without overwhelming the viewer.
      • Adaptability for Various Formats: Design posters that can be adapted for print and digital distribution, ensuring they look equally impactful on both mediums.
  4. Feedback and Revisions:
    • Receive and Incorporate Feedback: Present initial design drafts to the SayPro Marketing Royalty and Brand Material Office teams. Incorporate feedback and make revisions to ensure the final design meets all expectations and aligns with the brand’s objectives.
  5. Finalization and Publication:
    • Prepare Final Files: Once the design is approved, prepare the final poster files in the appropriate formats (e.g., PDF, PNG, JPEG) for printing and digital distribution.
    • Coordinate with Production Teams: Work with the SayPro Marketing team to ensure timely printing and distribution of the posters, as well as their inclusion in any digital or social media campaigns.
    • Monitor Quality Control: Ensure the final printed posters match the original design in terms of color, resolution, and overall quality.
  6. Ongoing Brand Alignment:
    • Maintain Consistency Across Materials: Continuously review all produced materials (including posters) to ensure they consistently reflect SayPro’s evolving brand identity.
    • Brand Evolution Awareness: Stay updated on any changes to SayPro’s brand guidelines and adjust design work accordingly.
  7. Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Work with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing Royalty team, content creators, and other designers to ensure that the posters effectively support the company’s broader marketing strategies.
    • Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress, timelines, and any challenges faced during the design process.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in graphic design, specifically with poster design and branding.
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SayPro’s brand guidelines or similar corporate identity standards is preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Consistency and accuracy in applying SayPro’s brand guidelines to posters.
  • Timeliness of delivering designs and meeting publication deadlines.
  • Positive feedback from the SayPro Marketing Royalty and Brand Material Office teams regarding design quality and alignment with the brand.
  • Successful integration of content provided by marketing and promotional teams.

This position is integral to maintaining SayPro’s strong visual identity and ensuring its monthly posters resonate with the target audience while adhering to brand guidelines.
