Job Description: SayPro Poster Concept Design for Monthly SCMR-13 Poster

Overview:
We are seeking a creative and skilled designer to develop visually appealing, attention-grabbing, and brand-aligned posters for the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-13 edition. The poster design should effectively communicate the core message while maintaining consistency with SayPro’s brand identity. The designer will be responsible for creating multiple design mock-ups and layout options for review and final approval, working closely with the SayPro Brand Material Office and the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to ensure alignment with the overall marketing strategy and branding.


Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  1. Initial Design Mock-ups and Layout Development:
    • Create at least 3 initial design concepts for the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-13 poster based on the creative brief and brand guidelines.
    • Ensure each mock-up is visually appealing and attention-grabbing while clearly communicating the intended message.
    • Consider the target audience and develop designs that are tailored to the specific needs and expectations of that demographic.
    • Use design principles such as hierarchy, color theory, and typography to ensure the poster is easy to read and visually balanced.
  2. Branding and Consistency:
    • Develop the poster design while strictly adhering to the SayPro brand identity. Ensure that the colors, fonts, logo placement, and overall style match SayPro’s brand materials and previous poster designs.
    • Maintain consistency in terms of logo usage, typography, color schemes, and graphical elements that align with SayPro’s overall brand strategy.
    • Collaborate with the SayPro Brand Material Office to source any necessary brand assets (e.g., logos, images, fonts) and incorporate them into the design.
  3. Creative Collaboration and Feedback Loop:
    • Present design mock-ups to the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team for feedback and ensure that the designs align with the marketing goals and objectives.
    • Work iteratively, making revisions to the design based on feedback and ensuring all changes are incorporated while maintaining the integrity of the original design.
    • Engage in discussions with the team to ensure the design reflects the core themes of the SCMR-13 edition and meets marketing and promotional goals.
  4. Final Design Refinement:
    • Finalize the approved poster design, ensuring all details are polished and the design meets the technical specifications for printing and digital distribution.
    • Prepare and deliver all required files, including high-resolution versions of the poster in the appropriate formats (e.g., PDF, JPG, PNG) for both print and online use.
    • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure that the design files are error-free and ready for production.
  5. Timely Delivery and Deadlines:
    • Ensure the design work is completed within the specified timeline for the January SCMR-13 release.
    • Adhere to project deadlines and keep the team informed of progress throughout the design process.
  6. Additional Tasks (if applicable):
    • Assist with additional marketing material design needs related to the SCMR-13 release, including digital ads, social media visuals, or other promotional collateral.
    • Help maintain a cohesive visual language across different marketing touchpoints to ensure brand consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing poster design, branding, and marketing materials.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
  • A good understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.
  • Experience working within established brand guidelines and ensuring design consistency.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with marketing and branding teams.
