Job Description & Tasks: Final Design and Production – SayPro Monthly January SCMR-13 Posters

Overview:

As part of SayPro’s Monthly SCMR-13 initiative, the role focuses on overseeing the final design and production phases of the SayPro Monthly posters. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the design is aligned with SayPro’s branding standards, followed by effective coordination with printing teams or third-party vendors to guarantee high-quality prints that meet the established specifications. This will contribute to the successful promotion of SayPro’s marketing and branding efforts under the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design Development and Alignment:
    • Develop eye-catching, innovative poster designs for the January SCMR-13 campaign.
    • Ensure the poster’s visual design aligns with the SayPro brand identity, emphasizing consistent use of brand colors, fonts, logos, and messaging.
    • Work closely with the SayPro Brand Material Office to incorporate brand elements into the design and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
  2. Branding:
    • Focus on creating posters that adhere to the SayPro Brand Guidelines, ensuring that the materials remain consistent with the company’s overall visual identity.
    • Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing team to understand the strategic objectives of the poster and ensure that the design supports the campaign’s goals.
    • Maintain high-quality design standards that elevate the brand’s presence and ensure a professional and cohesive look.
  3. Layout and Content Integration:
    • Coordinate the integration of required content (copy, graphics, and logos) with the design, ensuring legibility and proper placement.
    • Adapt and adjust the layout to fit different print sizes, and make sure the design is optimized for the required printing format (e.g., posters, banners).
    • Review and refine the design to meet the specific needs of different departments or campaigns while maintaining brand consistency.
  4. Printing Coordination:
    • Act as the point of contact between the SayPro Brand Material Office and the printing department or third-party printing vendors.
    • Ensure that all design files are ready for production, formatted correctly for print, and meet the print specifications (e.g., resolution, color modes, bleed lines).
    • Coordinate the printing process, checking for errors or discrepancies and ensuring that print quality meets SayPro standards.
    • Work with printing vendors to guarantee that the final product meets the specified paper quality, size, colors, and other production requirements.
    • Ensure the timely delivery of printed materials for distribution to stakeholders.
  5. Quality Control:
    • Conduct thorough checks of proofs before final approval, ensuring the print version matches the original design.
    • Review printed materials upon receipt to ensure color accuracy, paper quality, and overall presentation.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the production or printing process.
  6. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with internal teams (marketing, design, and branding) to clarify project requirements, deadlines, and feedback.
    • Engage in meetings and discussions to align the design with the broader marketing strategy for the SCMR-13 campaign.
    • Keep stakeholders informed about the progress of the design and production stages, offering updates and timelines.
  7. Project Management:
    • Oversee the entire poster production process from concept to completion.
    • Ensure deadlines are met, and that all tasks are completed on time and within the allocated budget.
    • Manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, ensuring that all aspects of the design, production, and printing run smoothly.
  8. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain proper documentation for design revisions, final approval, and printing files.
    • Prepare reports on the production process, noting any challenges, adjustments, or lessons learned for future projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Graphic Design: Proven experience in graphic design, especially in creating marketing materials like posters, brochures, and other print collateral.
  • Branding Expertise: Strong understanding of brand identity, including color theory, typography, and layout design.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with team members and external vendors.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure the design and printed material meet all quality standards.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring that the production process runs efficiently.
  • Print Production Knowledge: Knowledge of the printing process, including paper types, color profiles, and other technical aspects that affect print quality.
