Job Overview:
SayPro is seeking a talented and creative logo designer to develop a unique and memorable logo for the SayPro Monthly – January SCMR-13 edition. The designer will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the logo aligns with SayPro’s brand identity, values, and target audience. This role requires a deep understanding of branding, aesthetics, and visual communication.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logo Creation:
- Conceptualize and design an innovative, visually appealing, and memorable logo for SayPro Monthly – January SCMR-13.
- Ensure that the logo reflects the identity and values of SayPro while maintaining consistency with SayPro’s brand guidelines.
- Develop multiple design concepts and present options for review and selection.
- Ensure scalability and versatility of the logo across various platforms, including print, digital, and merchandise.
2. Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with the SayPro Marketing, Branding, and Creative Teams to understand the project requirements, target audience, and branding objectives.
- Incorporate feedback from SayPro Brand Material Office and SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR to refine and enhance the logo design.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to align creative direction with the marketing strategy.
3. Design Execution & Delivery:
- Develop high-resolution, vector-based logo files for various applications (e.g., PNG, JPG, SVG, AI, EPS, PDF).
- Provide multiple color variations, including monochrome, grayscale, and full-color options.
- Ensure that final deliverables meet technical specifications for print, web, and promotional materials.
4. Brand Compliance & Innovation:
- Maintain SayPro’s brand identity while introducing fresh and modern design elements.
- Stay updated with design trends and incorporate innovative techniques to enhance visual appeal.
- Ensure that all design elements align with SayPro’s branding guidelines and market positioning.
5. Documentation & Presentation:
- Present logo concepts with clear justifications for design choices, color schemes, and typography.
- Provide a style guide outlining the proper use of the logo, including sizing, placement, and color variations.
- Document the design process and decisions for future reference.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in logo design and branding.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, or other design software.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual composition.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with corporate branding and marketing teams is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design, branding, or logo design.
- Portfolio showcasing previous logo design projects.
