Objective:
To lay the foundation for the logo design by understanding the brand, its values, mission, and vision. This phase is crucial to ensure the logo is aligned with the brand’s identity and goals.
Tasks to Be Completed:
- Conduct Research on the Brand or Campaign:
- Brand Overview: Study the brand’s history, products/services, target audience, and market positioning.
- Gather detailed information about the brand, including its inception, evolution, and current standing.
- Identify key competitors and analyze their branding strategies for differentiation.
- Campaign Context (if applicable): If the logo is part of a specific campaign, understand the campaign’s goals, target demographic, and message to be conveyed through the logo.
- Brand Overview: Study the brand’s history, products/services, target audience, and market positioning.
- Understand Brand Values, Mission, and Vision:
- Mission Statement: Identify the brand’s mission to understand its core purpose and how it communicates with its audience.

- Brand Values: Understand the principles that drive the brand, such as quality, customer-centricity, innovation, or sustainability.
