Position Overview:

The Marketing and Advertising Manager for SayPro’s Quarterly Marketing and Advertising campaigns is pivotal in shaping, executing, and refining SayPro’s digital marketing initiatives. This role oversees the entire campaign lifecycle, from the initial strategic formulation to in-depth performance analysis. The manager will collaborate closely with content, creative, and paid media teams to ensure that SayPro’s marketing goals are achieved, with a particular focus on online platforms. The role also involves regular communication with internal stakeholders and reporting on campaign effectiveness to guide future initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Campaign Execution:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies for SayPro’s quarterly campaigns, focusing on the achievement of online marketing objectives.
  • Coordinate with the content and creative teams to create compelling, high-quality campaigns across multiple online platforms (social media, Google Ads, email marketing, etc.).
  • Ensure the timely and effective execution of campaigns, aligning efforts with SayPro’s overall business goals.
  • Oversee campaign targeting, segmentation, and positioning to effectively reach target audiences.

2. Performance Analysis and Optimization:

  • Monitor and assess the performance of ongoing campaigns, tracking key metrics such as ROI, click-through rates, conversions, and engagement.
  • Use analytical tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) to measure and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns by adjusting bidding strategies, targeting, and creative assets to improve performance.
  • Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to enhance results.

3. Collaboration Across Teams:

  • Work closely with the content team to ensure that marketing messages are consistent, engaging, and aligned with SayPro’s brand identity.
  • Partner with the creative team to ensure the development of visually appealing and effective advertisements for various digital channels.
  • Coordinate with the paid media team to ensure budget allocation, platform selection, and bidding strategies align with campaign goals.
  • Maintain a collaborative environment, ensuring seamless communication and synergy between all stakeholders involved in the campaign process.

4. Budget and Resource Management:

  • Oversee the campaign budget, ensuring that advertising spend is effectively allocated across platforms to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Track expenses to ensure that campaigns stay within budget while delivering on marketing goals.
  • Forecast and allocate resources for future campaigns based on historical data, performance insights, and financial objectives.

5. Reporting and Stakeholder Communication:

  • Provide regular and detailed performance reports on all marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Present actionable insights from data analysis and propose recommendations for future campaign strategies.
  • Maintain transparency with internal stakeholders by presenting clear reports and performance summaries that explain the rationale behind campaign decisions.
  • Regularly update senior management on the progress of campaigns, key successes, and areas for improvement, ensuring they are well-informed for strategic decision-making.
  • Foster an open line of communication with internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring all parties are aligned on goals and expectations.

6. Trend Monitoring and Innovation:

  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies, ensuring SayPro remains competitive in the online marketplace.
  • Identify and evaluate new digital advertising platforms and opportunities to extend SayPro’s reach and engagement.
  • Incorporate emerging trends and technologies into campaign strategies to drive innovation and enhance campaign performance.

7. Continuous Learning and Development:

  • Participate in industry webinars, conferences, and workshops to further develop knowledge and expertise in digital marketing and advertising.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in the development of their skills, helping them grow within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Proven track record in managing digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in performance measurement and campaign optimization.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Expertise in budget management and ensuring campaigns are cost-effective while meeting key performance indicators.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate campaign insights, strategies, and results to senior management.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with SEO/SEM strategies, content marketing, and email marketing.
  • Experience in data visualization tools and advanced reporting techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
