Job Description: Marketing and Advertising Manager for SayPro Quarterly Marketing and Advertising

Position Overview:

The Marketing and Advertising Manager for SayPro’s Quarterly Marketing and Advertising campaigns will be responsible for the end-to-end management of SayPro’s marketing efforts, with a particular focus on online platforms. This position plays a pivotal role in planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with SayPro’s overarching business objectives. The manager will collaborate closely with the content, creative, and paid media teams to drive targeted campaigns, improve performance, and analyze customer data to enhance future marketing strategies.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Segmentation and Targeting:
    • Analyze customer data: Use data analytics tools to assess customer behaviors, preferences, and demographics to define key audience segments. This will involve analyzing website traffic, past campaign performance, customer interactions, and market research.
    • Develop segmentation strategies: Based on the analysis, develop tailored audience segments for more personalized and effective marketing campaigns. Ensure campaigns are designed to target high-potential customer groups across various platforms (social media, email, paid media, etc.).
    • Refine targeting methods: Continually refine targeting strategies based on performance metrics and insights. Ensure that the right message is being delivered to the right audience at the right time.
    • Collaborate with analytics teams: Work with the data and analytics teams to ensure accurate customer insights are integrated into campaign strategies, enabling continuous optimization of targeting.
  2. Campaign Planning and Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work alongside SayPro’s content creation, design, and creative teams to develop high-quality, engaging content for ads, social media posts, landing pages, and email campaigns.
    • Design campaign strategies: Lead the development of digital marketing strategies that align with SayPro’s goals for each quarter. Ensure campaigns are targeted and strategic to maximize engagement, conversion, and ROI.
    • Align with product offerings: Coordinate with product teams to ensure campaigns reflect current products, such as the online marketplace offerings and new lighting solutions.
    • Optimize for mobile-first: Ensure that all campaigns are mobile-optimized, given the increasing trend of mobile users engaging with digital content.
  3. Campaign Execution and Management:
    • Implement campaigns across platforms: Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across a variety of online platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and email marketing platforms.
    • Manage budgets: Monitor and manage campaign budgets, ensuring efficient spend and alignment with performance goals.
    • Adjust campaigns in real time: Continuously analyze and optimize campaigns to improve performance, making adjustments to ad creatives, targeting, and copy based on data insights.
    • Collaborate on creative: Work closely with the creative team to ensure that all ad creatives (visuals, copy, landing pages) align with the established marketing strategy and resonate with target audiences.
  4. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
    • Monitor key metrics: Track performance metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, engagement rates, and cost-per-acquisition (CPA) to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
    • Optimize campaigns: Use A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other optimization techniques to refine ad creatives, copy, and landing pages, ensuring continuous improvement.
    • Provide insights: Regularly provide performance reports to senior leadership, detailing campaign success, key learnings, and recommendations for future improvements.
  5. Customer Engagement and Retention:
    • Enhance customer experience: Work on initiatives that enhance customer engagement, such as personalized email marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, and customer journey mapping.
    • Focus on retention: Leverage segmentation to create retention-focused campaigns that nurture existing customers, increasing lifetime value and repeat business.
  6. Brand Alignment and Market Development:
    • Ensure brand consistency: Work closely with the brand team to ensure all marketing materials and campaigns reflect SayPro’s brand voice, vision, and values. This includes maintaining consistency in messaging and design across all platforms.
    • Expand market presence: Develop strategies to increase SayPro’s market share, especially in key verticals related to indoor and outdoor lighting products.
    • Monitor competitor campaigns: Track and analyze competitor marketing campaigns and strategies to ensure SayPro stays competitive and innovative in its approach.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on campaign management, execution, and optimization.
  • Expertise in customer segmentation and targeting using data-driven insights.
  • Proficiency with marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, LinkedIn, email marketing tools, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using Google Analytics, social media insights, and other performance tracking tools.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with A/B testing, customer journey mapping, and digital conversion optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in eCommerce or online marketplace environments.
  • Knowledge of the lighting industry or familiarity with branded product solutions for commercial and residential spaces.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and email automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Salesforce).
  • Experience working with creative teams and designing integrated digital marketing campaigns.

This role will require a combination of strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and creativity. The Marketing and Advertising Manager will be crucial in driving SayPro’s marketing initiatives to new heights, ensuring the company’s digital presence is optimized for growth and customer engagement.
