Job Overview:
SayPro is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the SayPro Monthly Indoor and Outdoor Lighting (SCMR-13) project. This role will primarily focus on delivering comprehensive post-installation support, designing and maintaining high-quality indoor and outdoor lighting solutions tailored to different environments, and ensuring the seamless execution of lighting projects. As part of this initiative, the role will involve working with SayPro Brand Material Office and the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR to design, implement, and maintain branded lighting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Post-Installation Support:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for all lighting installations following the completion of initial installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with lighting systems post-installation.
- Perform routine checks to ensure that lighting solutions are functioning optimally and meet the performance standards expected by clients.
- Offer professional recommendations and solutions for any repairs, upgrades, or modifications needed in existing lighting installations.
- Work directly with the SayPro Project Management and Customer Service teams to address client concerns and ensure a smooth post-installation experience.
- Provide feedback and insights for continuous improvement in post-installation processes.
2. Lighting Design:
- Design customized indoor and outdoor lighting solutions based on client needs, preferences, and environmental factors, ensuring alignment with SayPro’s design standards.
- Collaborate with the SayPro Brand Material Office to ensure that all designs utilize approved materials and products from SayPro’s range.
- Develop lighting solutions that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the environment while adhering to safety and sustainability standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand the unique lighting requirements of various spaces, such as residential, commercial, and public areas.
- Ensure that all lighting designs are energy-efficient and comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
3. Installation Coordination:
- Oversee and support the installation of both indoor and outdoor lighting solutions, ensuring that all installations are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Work closely with the SayPro installation teams to guarantee that all installation procedures follow the agreed-upon designs and specifications.
- Ensure that all installations are completed in compliance with safety guidelines, regulations, and SayPro’s quality standards.
4. Lighting System Maintenance and Upkeep:
- Implement and manage regular maintenance schedules for all installed lighting systems, ensuring long-term functionality and minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular assessments of lighting installations, identifying areas for improvement or upgrades based on performance metrics.
- Advise clients on the proper care and maintenance of lighting systems, including bulb replacement, cleaning procedures, and adjustments to improve performance.
5. Collaboration with Marketing and Brand Teams:
- Work with SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR to promote the brand and products through visually appealing lighting solutions.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and content, showcasing the unique features and benefits of SayPro’s lighting designs.
- Support marketing initiatives by providing lighting design expertise for promotional events, trade shows, and other brand activations.
6. Client Communication and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for any lighting-related inquiries.
- Ensure that all clients are satisfied with the lighting solutions provided and address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collect client feedback after installation and post-installation support to improve future projects and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in designing and installing indoor and outdoor lighting solutions.
- Strong understanding of lighting technologies, including energy-efficient systems and sustainable practices.
- Familiarity with design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools for lighting design.
- Experience with post-installation support and maintenance for lighting systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of relevant lighting codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous lighting design work is a plus.
