Position Overview:
The SayPro Monthly Indoor and Outdoor Lighting (SCMR-13) role is focused on the design, installation, and post-installation support for branded lighting solutions tailored to diverse indoor and outdoor environments. The role combines creative design, technical troubleshooting, and customer service to ensure that lighting solutions enhance the overall functionality and aesthetics of spaces. This position requires expertise in lighting systems, the ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues post-installation, and a strong alignment with the SayPro brand’s marketing and royalty standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Post-Installation Support:
- Provide comprehensive troubleshooting for any lighting system issues that occur after installation, ensuring that all systems operate at optimal performance.
- Identify and address performance discrepancies by making necessary adjustments and refinements to improve functionality, aesthetics, and energy efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers following installation, ensuring that issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently.
- Work closely with the SayPro technical support team to diagnose and resolve complex lighting system issues.
Design & Customization:
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to design and implement customized branded lighting solutions for various indoor and outdoor spaces, including corporate offices, retail locations, public areas, and residential environments.
- Develop lighting designs that align with the SayPro brand’s marketing strategy, ensuring that the final installation reflects SayPro’s branding standards and visual identity.
- Utilize cutting-edge lighting technology and sustainable design practices to create energy-efficient, cost-effective, and visually appealing lighting solutions.
- Develop mood boards, lighting layouts, and system blueprints for client approval and ensure that all designs meet technical and aesthetic requirements.
Installation and Configuration:
- Oversee the installation process for both indoor and outdoor lighting systems, ensuring timely completion and adherence to design specifications.
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure that all systems are set up according to the design plan and operate efficiently.
- Ensure all electrical safety codes, environmental regulations, and product standards are followed during installation.
Branding and Marketing Integration:
- Ensure that lighting designs align with the marketing and branding guidelines of the SayPro brand, adhering to the principles of brand consistency.
- Work closely with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to incorporate brand elements and ensure that lighting solutions enhance the visual appeal and brand messaging in various environments.
- Keep up to date with the latest lighting trends, technologies, and design practices that support SayPro’s brand positioning in the marketplace.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with clients and maintain open communication throughout the lifecycle of the project—from design and installation to post-installation support.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations on lighting selection, energy efficiency, and design upgrades that align with client needs and preferences.
- Address customer feedback and concerns with professionalism and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Training and Knowledge Transfer:
- Provide training to clients and end-users on how to operate and maintain their newly installed lighting systems, ensuring they get the best performance out of the installations.
- Stay informed on industry trends and innovations in lighting design, technologies, and solutions, and share knowledge with colleagues and clients.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of lighting design plans, installation details, maintenance schedules, and post-installation support activities.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports on the performance and issues of lighting systems, as well as any adjustments or upgrades made post-installation.
- Provide feedback on the lighting systems and processes to improve future design and installation efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in lighting design, installation, and post-installation troubleshooting, specifically in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, lighting technology, and energy-efficient practices.
- Familiarity with industry-standard lighting design software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex lighting issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and installation teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Experience with brand management and marketing principles in design work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Working Conditions:
