Position Overview:
The Giveaway Coordinator will oversee the design, implementation, and management of promotional campaigns involving branded giveaways. Working closely with the marketing team, the coordinator will ensure that giveaways are strategically aligned with SayPro’s marketing objectives, ensuring effective distribution and high engagement with the target audience. This role requires creative input, strategic thinking, and strong coordination skills to ensure that all campaigns maximize the impact of giveaways and align with SayPro’s brand and promotional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Promotional Strategy:
- Campaign Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns centered around branded giveaways. This involves identifying the best approaches for integrating giveaways into larger marketing initiatives.
- Target Audience Engagement: Determine the most effective distribution methods to reach and engage the target audience, such as using contests, lead magnets, or tying giveaways to purchases, sign-ups, or event participation.
- Campaign Goals and KPIs: Work with the marketing team to set clear objectives for each giveaway campaign, ensuring that success is measurable and aligned with broader brand goals, such as increasing brand awareness, generating leads, or fostering customer loyalty.
- Creativity in Campaign Design: Contribute to the creative process by suggesting innovative ideas for promotional campaigns that incorporate giveaways in a way that resonates with the target audience and aligns with SayPro’s marketing goals.
- Audience Segmentation: Assist the marketing team in segmenting the audience for specific giveaways to ensure that they are relevant and effective in engaging the right customer base.
2. Giveaway Selection and Coordination:
- Branded Giveaway Selection: Work with the SayPro Brand Material Office and the marketing team to choose branded merchandise that aligns with the campaign’s goals, ensuring that the giveaways attract and engage visitors effectively.
- Budget Management: Adhere to the budget set for giveaways, as outlined in the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-13, ensuring cost-effective purchasing without compromising on quality or impact.
- Product Sourcing and Vendor Relations: Source and liaise with reliable vendors for the production and delivery of branded giveaways. Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality merchandise and timely delivery in accordance with campaign timelines.
- Logistics and Distribution: Oversee the distribution of giveaways to ensure they are delivered to the right locations (e.g., event sites, customer mailings, etc.) on time. Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams to ensure smooth handling of giveaway deliveries.
3. Campaign Promotion and Distribution Methods:
- Contests and Lead Magnets: Design and manage giveaways tied to contests or lead magnets. Ensure that these strategies are effectively communicated to the target audience and have a strong call to action.
- Partnership Campaigns: Collaborate with other departments and external partners to integrate giveaways into joint promotional campaigns, such as co-branded initiatives, where applicable.
- Data Collection and Analytics: Develop systems for collecting data related to giveaway participation, ensuring that relevant metrics such as participant engagement, conversion rates, and overall effectiveness are tracked. Provide regular reporting to the marketing team and Director of Brand Material.
- Follow-up Engagement: Coordinate post-campaign follow-up strategies, including social media engagement, email marketing, or further outreach to participants, ensuring that the giveaways contribute to ongoing customer engagement.
4. Collaboration and Reporting:
- Cross-functional Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams such as the marketing, design, and sales departments to ensure that the giveaway initiatives are aligned with overall brand messaging and marketing objectives.
- Campaign Performance Reviews: Provide detailed performance reports on each campaign, analyzing the effectiveness of the giveaway strategy, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations for future campaigns.
- Inventory Management and Tracking: Manage the inventory of giveaway items, ensuring that supplies are available as needed for upcoming campaigns and events. Maintain accurate records of giveaway distribution and stock levels.
5. Brand Consistency:
- Brand Alignment: Ensure that all giveaways are in line with SayPro’s brand image and values, maintaining consistency in design, messaging, and overall presentation.
- Quality Control: Oversee the production of giveaways to ensure they meet SayPro’s standards for quality and branding guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or promotional campaign management.
- Skills:
- Strong creative thinking and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficient in project management, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including contests, lead magnets, and other promotional strategies.
- Comfortable working with vendors and managing budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with marketing or project management tools.
- Understanding of branding principles and consumer behavior.
Working Conditions:
- This position can be based at the SayPro Offices in Neftalopolis or conducted remotely, with occasional travel for events or meetings with vendors.
- Standard office hours (Monday to Friday), with flexibility required for events or campaigns.
