WooCommerce itself doesn’t have a separate “Site Visibility” setting — it uses the WordPress visibility setting under Settings > Reading. However, certain WooCommerce features and behaviors can make your site or store behave like it’s in “Coming Soon” or “not live” mode.
Here’s what you need to check for full WooCommerce site visibility:
✅ 1. Woocommerce Site Visibility Setting
Ensure this is properly configured:
- Go to WooCommerce> Settings> Site Visibility.
- Select Live
- Click Save Changes.
✅ 1. WordPress Site Visibility Setting
Ensure this is properly configured:
- Go to Settings > Reading.
- Make sure “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” is unchecked.
- Click Save Changes.
✅ 2. WooCommerce Page Assignments
WooCommerce won’t function properly if key pages aren’t assigned:
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced.
- Ensure these pages are set:
- Cart
- Checkout
- My Account
- Terms and Conditions (optional)
- If any are missing, assign the correct page and save.
✅ 3. WooCommerce “Coming Soon” Admin Banner
If you’re seeing a “Coming Soon” or “Not Live” message in the admin panel, it means WooCommerce thinks setup isn’t complete:
- Go to WooCommerce > Home.
- Complete or dismiss all the steps in the Setup Wizard.
- Once all tasks are completed or skipped, the “Coming Soon” label should go away.
✅ 4. Product Visibility
Ensure your products are set to “Public”:
- Go to Products > All Products.
- Edit each product and check “Visibility” in the Publish panel.
- Make sure it’s set to Public, not Private or Password-Protected.
✅ 5. Maintenance or Coming Soon Plugins
Check for plugins like:
- SeedProd
- WP Maintenance Mode
- Under Construction Page
If one is active, it might hide your site from visitors. Deactivate or disable the “Coming Soon” mode inside the plugin settings.
