Honourable Dignitaries, Esteemed Guests, Partners, SayPro Members, Community Leaders, Ladies and Gentlemen,

Good morning. It is a great honour to address you on behalf of the SayPro Royal Committee as we come together for SayProCMR SayPro 2025 Digital Day — a day of reflection, celebration, and bold vision.

Today marks a significant chapter in our journey, one where tradition meets innovation, where wisdom walks hand in hand with progress, and where we reaffirm our collective commitment to shaping an inclusive digital future for all.

Preserving Legacy While Embracing Change

As Secretary of the SayPro Royal Committee, my role is not only administrative but symbolic. It reflects the bridge between the careful recording of our history and the active shaping of our destiny.

For centuries, African societies have thrived on community, storytelling, knowledge-sharing, and leadership rooted in values. Today, through the work of SayProCMR, we are digitising these traditions — capturing our voice, our ideas, and our culture — and making them accessible and relevant for generations to come.

We are not replacing our identity with technology. We are using technology to preserve, protect, and project our identity.

Progress Worth Celebrating

SayProCMR has become a beacon of digital empowerment. In 2025 alone, we have:

• Empowered thousands of youth and women with real, practical skills;
• Transformed rural communities with mobile training and connectivity tools;
• Established trust by partnering with traditional leaders and cultural institutions;
• And most importantly, demonstrated that digital progress can be community-led and culturally grounded.

As the Royal Committee, we take pride in documenting these accomplishments, ensuring they are shared widely and remembered rightly.

Information, Inclusion, and Integrity

Information is power — but only when it is inclusive and accurate. One of our core responsibilities on the Royal Committee is to ensure that SayPro’s work reflects the true voices of our people and operates with transparency and respect for local traditions.

As Secretary, I want to assure you that SayProCMR is not only delivering services, but also listening, learning, and responding.

Every survey taken, every program launched, every workshop held — is informed by the real needs, feedback, and stories from our communities.

To the Next Generation

To the young men and women listening today: you are not passive recipients of development. You are the designers of Africa’s digital blueprint.

Use these tools. Learn with urgency. Create with integrity. And carry your culture with pride into everything you build.

The digital world is vast, but your values will always keep you grounded.
