Speech by the SayPro Royal Committee Deputy Secretary: Martha Keditlwaetse Moshoeshoe

Esteemed Chiefs and Elders, Honorable Guests, Members of the SayPro Family, Partners, and Community Leaders,

Good morning and welcome to SayProCMR SayPro 2025 Digital Day.

I am deeply honored to speak on behalf of the SayPro Royal Committee as the Deputy Secretary, on this day that marks a significant step forward—not just in digital advancement, but in people-centered development for Cameroon and Africa at large.

A Digital Future Rooted in Community

Digital Day is not simply about showcasing new technologies. It is about ensuring that innovation serves the people. It is about ensuring that progress includes everyone—from rural villages to urban centers, from elders to the youngest child, from tradition to transformation.

SayProCMR is proof that digital development can succeed when it is built on cultural understanding, respect, and local ownership.

The Role of the Royal Committee

As the Royal Committee, we ensure that SayPro’s work aligns with the cultural and social fabric of our communities. Our mission is to:

  • Preserve local wisdom while embracing innovation,
  • Promote inclusivity in digital programs,
  • And act as guardians of ethical, community-first implementation.

As Deputy Secretary, my duty is to ensure the voices of communities are not only heard but shape the work SayPro carries out every day.

SayProCMR 2025 Highlights

This year, we are proud of the tremendous progress made by SayProCMR:

  • Thousands of young people trained in digital literacy and entrepreneurship,
  • Women-led enterprises supported through mobile business tools,
  • Rural communities gaining access to e-learning for the first time,
  • And elders participating in intergenerational digital workshops, where knowledge flows both ways.

These achievements are not just numbers on a report. They are real changes in real lives, driven by dedication, partnerships, and cultural sensitivity.

A Message to Our Communities

To our youth: This is your moment. Use every digital tool given to you, but never forget where you come from.

To our traditional leaders: Your guidance continues to be a foundation for this work. You are not spectators to change; you are the co-authors of our future.

To our women: You are creators, innovators, and leaders. SayPro stands proudly with you, in every step toward independence and empowerment.

Our Vision Going Forward

As we look to the future, SayProCMR and the Royal Committee will:

  • Expand our reach to more rural and semi-urban areas,
  • Integrate cultural knowledge into digital training programs,
  • And ensure no one is left behind—not by age, gender, or geography.

Let us ensure that Africa’s digital revolution is not just fast, but fair. Not just modern, but meaningful.

Closing Words

In closing, I invite each of you to reflect on this powerful truth: When technology meets tradition with respect, transformation becomes unstoppable.

SayPro is not just a program. It is a promise. A promise that Africa can lead with dignity, with strength, and with community at its heart.

Thank you. May we continue to rise—together.

One SayPro. One Future. One Africa.
