The Human Capital Unit within the SayProCSHC-5 TVET College Graduate Internship Management Office at SayProStaffKraal is a strategic division committed to unlocking the full potential of graduates through talent development, skills alignment, and professional empowerment.

Our purpose is to ensure that every intern and graduate placed within SayPro or its partner networks is positioned for long-term career success through effective human capital practices, mentorship, and performance development initiatives.


Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Identification and Onboarding:
    Screen, assess, and onboard qualified TVET college graduates into various SayPro internship streams.
  2. Intern Performance Management:
    Implement structured performance appraisal systems to monitor intern growth, provide feedback, and develop improvement plans.
  3. Learning and Development:
    Facilitate professional development programs including soft skills training, workplace readiness, digital skills, and sector-specific upskilling.
  4. Mentorship and Coaching:
    Pair interns with experienced SayPro staff and external mentors to guide their career journeys and build leadership capacity.
  5. Workplace Integration:
    Ensure seamless integration of interns into SayPro departments, projects, and partner organizations through orientation and induction support.
  6. Wellness and Support Services:
    Provide psychosocial support, career counseling, and access to wellness programs to ensure the holistic well-being of interns.
  7. Compliance and Human Capital Policies:
    Maintain and enforce human capital guidelines, internship contracts, and ensure alignment with labour laws and educational standards.
  8. Exit Strategy and Career Pathways:
    Support graduates with exit plans including CV development, job search support, referrals, and continued mentorship after their internship term.
  9. Stakeholder and Partner Relations:
    Collaborate with employers, colleges, sector education training authorities (SETAs), and industry stakeholders to align internship opportunities with market demands.
  10. Human Capital Data and Reporting:
    Manage a centralized database of all interns, track progress, generate reports, and use data insights to enhance internship programming.
