It is with great pride and immense purpose that I stand before you today to officially launch the SayProCRR-5: SayPro Consumer Behaviour Analysis Research Office – an innovative and vital pillar of our mission at SayPro.

This launch is not just the unveiling of a department. It is the birth of a movement – one that places data, people, and insight at the centre of everything we do.

At SayPro, we’ve always believed that communities cannot be empowered with assumptions. We must listen. We must study. We must understand. That is why SayProCRR-5 exists – to research, analyse, and make sense of the choices, the needs, the patterns, and the voices of our people as consumers, citizens, and active participants in the economy.

Consumer behaviour is not just about shopping trends. It is about lifestyle, income, culture, access, trust, and yes – survival. Our goal with SayProCRR-5 is to deeply explore how people engage with products, services, brands, technologies, and opportunities – especially in underrepresented and underserved communities.

This research office will:

  • Conduct in-depth studies across urban, rural, and township areas.
  • Analyse purchasing patterns and economic behaviours by age, gender, and geography.
  • Explore digital consumer trends and e-commerce adoption.
  • Measure trust in institutions, product preferences, and consumption habits.
  • Provide strategic insights for businesses, non-profits, government, and civil society.

We will produce reports, host dialogues, and offer practical guidance to everyone committed to creating real value for communities.

Let me be clear – SayProCRR-5 is a bridge. A bridge between the consumer and the provider. A bridge between misunderstanding and informed action. A bridge between exclusion and inclusion.
