Only the SayPro Vendor Marketplace admin can create product categories. SayPro Vendors can only assign their products to these existing categories.
If your category does not exist please leave a text on the chat on the bottom left so that we can be able to add it for you. We will communicate in writing once it has been done.
Then whilst waiting for the SayPro Category to be added you can continue to add more SayPro Products
PART A: How SayPro Vendor Administrators Adds Categories in SayPro (One-Time Setup)
If you are the admin of the site, follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to SayPro Admin
- Go to:
yourwebsite.co
m then go to the login section - Log in with an administrator account
Step 2: Go to SayPro Product Categories
- On the left menu, click SayPro Products > SayPro Products Categories
Step 3: Add a New SayPro Product Category
- Fill in the Name (e.g., “T-Shirts”)
- (Optional) Add:
- Slug (URL version)
- Parent Category (for subcategories)
- Description
- Click “Add New SayPro Product Category”
Repeat this step to create all needed categories for SayPro marketplace.
PART B: How SayPro Vendors Use Those Categories
As a SayPro vendor, here’s how to assign your product to those categories:
Step 1: Log in to SayPro Vendor Dashboard
- Log into your vendor account
Step 2: Go to SayPro Products > Add New SayPro Product
- In the vendor dashboard, click SayPro Products
- Then click Add New SayPro Product
Step 3: Choose SayPro Categories
- Scroll down to the SayPro Product Category section
- Tick the checkbox(es) for the category or categories that apply
Step 4: Complete SayPro Product Details
- Fill in name, price, images, etc.
Step 5: Publish
- Click “Create SayPro Product” or “Publish”
