Job Title: Chief Research Officer (SCRR)

Job Overview: The Chief Research Officer (SCRR) will be responsible for overseeing the development, review, and upload of QCTO-compliant training materials onto the SayPro website. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of industry-specific training needs, compliance regulations, and quality assurance processes. The SCRR will ensure that the training materials meet all regulatory and accreditation standards while maintaining relevance to the needs of instructors and learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Materials Development & Review:
    • Oversee the creation, modification, and final approval of QCTO-compliant training materials.
    • Ensure all training content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Review and approve materials before they are uploaded to the SayPro website.
  2. Feedback Analysis:
    • Collect and analyze feedback from instructors and learners regarding the effectiveness of training materials.
    • Utilize feedback to continuously improve and update training content, ensuring it remains relevant and impactful.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that all training materials are of the highest quality and meet both the internal standards of SayPro and the external standards of regulatory bodies.
    • Implement and monitor quality control processes throughout the material development lifecycle.
  4. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
    • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure that all training materials comply with QCTO standards and other relevant regulations.
    • Conduct regular audits of training materials to ensure ongoing compliance with industry and legal standards.
  5. Collaboration & Coordination:
    • Work closely with content developers, instructors, and the tech team to ensure seamless uploading and accessibility of training materials on the SayPro website.
    • Collaborate with industry experts and stakeholders to gather insights on training needs and ensure alignment with industry demands.
  6. Strategic Planning & Reporting:
    • Develop and implement long-term strategies for the continuous improvement of training content.
    • Report regularly to senior leadership on the status of training material development, compliance, and feedback outcomes.
  7. Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including training providers, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
    • Represent the SCRR function in industry forums, conferences, and meetings as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • A postgraduate degree in Education, Research, or a relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of QCTO standards and accreditation processes.
  • Proven experience in overseeing training content development, review, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and feedback interpretation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a similar role within an education or training environment.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web-based platforms.
  • A strong understanding of industry trends and needs.
