1. PARTIES

2. PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT

This Agreement establishes a partnership between SayPro and Diepsloot Youth Project for the purpose of:

  • Providing corporate workplace exposure and practical learning experiences to learners.
  • Enhancing employability skills and career readiness through structured internships, learnerships, or workplace training.
  • Supporting the holistic development of learners in accordance with South African skills development policies.
  • Ensuring both parties comply with labour and education regulations in the hosting of learners.

3. SCOPE OF LEARNER HOSTING

Under this Agreement, SayPro will host learners from Diepsloot Youth Project for [Specify Duration: 6 months, 12 months, etc.], covering:

  1. Workplace Training & Mentorship: Assigning learners to corporate teams for hands-on experience.
  2. Skills Development Programs: Providing access to training modules, mentorship, and assessments.
  3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Conducting regular evaluations on learner progress.
  4. Employment Readiness Support: Assisting learners with career coaching, CV preparation, and interview skills.
  5. Compliance with Workplace Learning Standards: Ensuring all workplace learning aligns with industry best practices.

4. RESPONSIBILITIES OF SAYPRO (HOST ORGANIZATION)

SayPro agrees to:

  • Provide structured workplace exposure and mentorship for the learners.
  • Ensure learners are assigned meaningful tasks relevant to their field of study.
  • Offer supervision, coaching, and progress evaluations throughout the program.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace learning and employment laws.
  • Provide reports on learner performance to Diepsloot Youth Project.
  • Assist with post-program transition support (where applicable).

5. RESPONSIBILITIES OF DIEPSLOOT YOUTH PROJECT (SENDING ORGANIZATION)

The Sending Organization agrees to:

  • Identify and select eligible learners for the program.
  • Ensure learners meet the necessary academic and training prerequisites.
  • Provide pre-placement training and orientation for learners.
  • Act as a liaison between SayPro and the learners for administrative and welfare support.
  • Monitor learner attendance and performance in collaboration with SayPro.
  • Handle any disputes, grievances, or disciplinary matters related to learners.

6. LEARNER RESPONSIBILITIES

Learners participating in the program must:

  • Adhere to SayPro’s workplace policies and code of conduct.
  • Maintain professional behavior, attendance, and commitment to assigned tasks.
  • Actively participate in learning activities and mentorship sessions.
  • Submit progress reports, assignments, or evaluations as required.
  • Comply with confidentiality and data protection policies while in the workplace.

7. FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS

Unpaid Learnership: Learners will participate in the program without financial remuneration.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  • Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiations between SayPro and Diepsloot Youth Project.
  • If unresolved, the matter will be referred to mediation or arbitration in accordance with South African laws.

11. GENERAL PROVISIONS

  • Entire Agreement: This document represents the full understanding between both parties.
  • Amendments: Any modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties.
  • Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa.
