Key Responsibilities:
Material Review and Updates:
- Review and assess all new training materials to ensure they meet QCTO guidelines and standards.
- Continuously monitor and update training materials to stay aligned with industry developments and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that training content is current, accurate, and of high quality before being uploaded to the SayPro website.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all training materials meet QCTO compliance requirements, both in content and format.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain the compliance of existing training materials.
- Coordinate with industry experts and regulatory bodies to ensure that materials reflect the latest standards and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with industry professionals, content creators, and regulatory authorities to gather feedback and ensure training materials are aligned with the needs of the workforce.
- Facilitate collaboration between internal teams (e.g., subject matter experts, instructional designers) and external stakeholders to optimize material quality and compliance.
Research and Development:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to inform the development of new training programs.
- Initiate and lead research efforts to improve the effectiveness and impact of training materials.
- Drive innovation in training material design, delivery, and assessment to meet evolving industry standards.
Content Upload and Maintenance:
- Oversee the upload and management of updated training materials on the SayPro website, ensuring they are accessible to users and comply with all technical standards.
- Implement and monitor a content version control system to maintain a clear record of all updates and changes.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Lead and manage a team of content developers, instructional designers, and researchers.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, ensuring their professional growth and adherence to compliance standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high standards in the development and review of training materials.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on the status of training material compliance, including recommendations for improvements and updates.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of training material revisions, compliance audits, and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications:
- Education: A degree in Education, Research, Instructional Design, or a related field. A Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar role within a regulatory or educational environment.
- Extensive experience in QCTO standards, compliance requirements, and vocational training material development.
- Proven track record in managing teams and collaborating with external stakeholders.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of QCTO standards and compliance processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
