Quality Assurance

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance:
    • Oversee the comprehensive quality assurance process for all content before it is uploaded onto the SayPro platform.
    • Ensure that training materials meet QCTO (Quality Council for Trades and Occupations) compliance standards.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to identify any issues with materials and provide solutions for improvement.
  2. Material Development & Review:
    • Lead the development of training materials, ensuring that they align with the objectives of the organization and the regulatory framework.
    • Conduct detailed reviews and assessments of training content to guarantee clarity, accuracy, and relevance to industry standards.
    • Ensure that the training content remains updated and reflective of changes in industry trends and regulations.
  3. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
    • Ensure that all training materials meet the specific requirements set by the QCTO and any other relevant regulatory bodies.
    • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the materials remain compliant and up-to-date.
    • Serve as the point of contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and effective communication on compliance issues.
  4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work closely with internal teams, including curriculum developers, instructional designers, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment on objectives.
    • Maintain strong relationships with external partners to stay informed about new regulatory or industry developments that could impact training materials.
  5. Performance Metrics & Reporting:
    • Develop performance metrics to assess the quality, effectiveness, and compliance of training materials.
    • Provide regular reports to senior management regarding the status of materials and compliance efforts.
    • Identify areas for improvement and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
  6. Leadership & Team Development:
    • Lead a team of content developers, researchers, and compliance officers to execute the department’s goals efficiently.
    • Mentor and provide professional development opportunities to team members to ensure high levels of competence and performance.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A degree in Education, Research, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in a senior research or content development role, preferably within an education or training organization.
    • Deep understanding of QCTO standards and compliance requirements.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
