To rename the default “Uncategorized” post category to “SayPro XX Insights” in WordPress, follow these steps:

✅ Step-by-Step: Rename “Uncategorized” to “SayPro XX Insights”

  1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard
    URL: yourwebsite.com/wp-admin
  2. Go to Posts > Categories
    In the left-hand menu, navigate to:
    Posts > Categories
  3. Find “Uncategorized”
    • This is usually the default category and cannot be deleted.
    • Hover over it and click Edit
  4. Edit the Category Name and Slug
    • Name: Change to SayPro XX Insights
    • Slug: Change to saypro-xx-insights (optional, for SEO-friendly URLs)
  5. Click Update

✅ Optional: Set as Default Post Category

If you want “SayPro XX Insights” to be the default category (so it applies to posts without a chosen category):

  1. Go to Settings > Writing
  2. Under Default Post Category, choose SayPro XX Insights
  3. Click Save Changes
