Submission Guidelines

All applicants are required to submit a complete research entry package consisting of the following five components:

  1. Motivation Statement (Maximum 300 words):
    A personal narrative outlining your interest in SayPro Brand Perception research. This should express:
    • Your connection to brand studies or qualitative research
    • Why SayPro’s brand values, identity, or presence are of interest
    • What you hope to achieve or contribute through this research initiative
  2. Abstract of Qualitative Study or Approach (Maximum 500 words):
    A concise summary of the research you intend to present or explore. The abstract must clearly articulate:
    • The research question or central theme
    • The qualitative methodology or theoretical framework being applied
    • Key topics or perspectives the study aims to uncover
    • The relevance of the study to SayPro’s brand perception or broader brand dynamics
      This abstract should provide a compelling overview of the research direction and demonstrate its alignment with SayPro’s qualitative research goals.
  3. Full Qualitative Analysis Paper (2,000–5,000 words):
    A structured academic or professional paper including the following sections:
    • Introduction and background
    • Literature review or theoretical context
    • Research design and methodology
    • Findings and discussion
    • Conclusion and implications
  4. Researcher Bio(s) (Maximum 150 words per individual):
    A short profile for each participant, including relevant qualifications, institutional affiliation (if applicable), research interests, and prior experience in brand studies or qualitative research.
  5. Ethics Statement:
    A formal declaration confirming ethical compliance in the research process, including participant confidentiality, consent, and data protection practices where applicable.
