Position Overview:
The Marketing and Advertising Manager for SayPro’s Quarterly Marketing and Advertising campaigns will play a pivotal role in the creation, execution, and optimization of digital marketing strategies, particularly focused on online platforms. This role is key to ensuring the success of SayPro’s marketing initiatives, driving engagement, conversions, and brand visibility. The manager will take ownership of the entire campaign process, from strategy formulation to performance analysis, while closely collaborating with the content, creative, and paid media teams to meet SayPro’s digital marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Campaign Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for SayPro’s online platforms, in alignment with quarterly business objectives.
- Design and oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including paid media strategies, content marketing, and online advertising.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with creative, content, and paid media teams to develop targeted campaigns designed for optimal engagement and conversions.
- Drive continuous innovation and improvements in campaign strategies based on market trends and internal goals.
2. Performance Analysis and Optimization:
- Regularly monitor and analyze campaign performance using key metrics such as ROI, reach, engagement rates, and conversion rates.
- Use analytics tools to identify areas for optimization, making data-driven decisions to improve overall campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct A/B testing, analyze results, and implement changes to improve campaign performance and optimize ad spend.
- Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance and provide recommendations for future strategies.
3. Cross-functional Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the content team to ensure the messaging is engaging, relevant, and consistent with the overall brand voice.
- Partner with the creative team to ensure campaign visuals align with the objectives and creative standards.
- Collaborate with the paid media team to optimize spending, targeting, bidding strategies, and campaign timelines.
- Liaise with the customer support and sales teams to ensure seamless communication with customers generated through campaigns.
4. Budget Management and Resource Allocation:
- Monitor advertising spend across multiple channels to ensure campaigns stay within allocated budgets while achieving desired outcomes.
- Allocate resources across digital marketing platforms (social media, search engines, display networks, etc.) to maximize impact and optimize ROI.
- Track and report budget performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure campaigns are cost-effective without sacrificing results.
5. Reporting and Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, providing detailed updates on campaign progress, performance results, and any adjustments made to improve outcomes.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports that highlight key achievements, challenges, and actionable insights for senior management.
- Maintain open communication with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and expectations throughout the campaign process.
- Provide clear and timely updates to the team, keeping everyone informed of key developments, upcoming changes, or required actions.
- Effectively communicate and manage expectations, both internally and externally, regarding campaign timelines, objectives, and results.
6. Trend Monitoring and Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in digital marketing to maintain SayPro’s competitive edge in the online marketplace.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within the digital advertising space.
- Implement best practices in campaign strategy, testing, and optimization to ensure continuous improvement in all marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and optimizing online advertising campaigns, with a strong understanding of various digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Proficiency in using digital marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Strong ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and report to senior management.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret campaign data and make informed decisions.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and conversion rate optimization.
- Experience in working with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
