Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Layout & Design
- Develop visually compelling magazine layouts using a combination of images, icons, and charts.
- Enhance readability and engagement by strategically positioning text and visuals.
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and typography for a polished, professional look.
2. Magazine Branding & Design
- Design SayPro Monthly magazines while adhering to SayPro’s branding guidelines.
- Incorporate SayPro Brand Material Office assets to maintain brand consistency.
- Develop creative cover designs and visually appealing article spreads.
3. Marketing & Visual Identity
- Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to align the magazine’s look with the company’s marketing strategy.
- Implement design elements that reinforce SayPro’s brand identity and messaging.
- Ensure high-quality output for both print and digital formats.
4. Collaboration & Content Management
- Work closely with writers, editors, and marketing teams to align design with content.
- Source high-quality images, infographics, and visual assets to enhance storytelling.
- Maintain version control and organize design files systematically.
5. Quality Assurance & Finalization
- Conduct thorough proofreading and quality checks before finalizing magazine issues.
- Optimize images and layouts for digital and print distribution.
- Ensure all design elements comply with SayPro’s branding and marketing standards.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience in magazine design, branding, or layout development is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design software.
- Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Soft Skills:
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
