Job Description:

The SayPro Monthly Indoor and Outdoor Lighting project (SCMR-13) focuses on providing innovative lighting solutions for both indoor and outdoor environments, ensuring seamless installations, consistent branding, and high-quality results. As a key member of this project, the individual will be responsible for coordinating the overall execution and ensuring that all lighting design and installations align with SayPro’s marketing and branding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:
   • Collaborate with Contractors and Installation Teams: Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating between various contractors, designers, and installation teams to ensure efficient project execution.
   • Timeline Management: Develop and maintain a detailed project timeline to ensure lighting installations are completed within the set deadlines.
   • Resource Allocation: Oversee the allocation of resources, materials, and manpower required for both indoor and outdoor lighting installations.
   • Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Communicate with vendors and suppliers to secure the necessary lighting fixtures, materials, and equipment, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
   • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving strategies while ensuring quality standards are upheld.
2. Design and Implementation of Lighting Solutions:
   • Lighting Design Conceptualization: Work with the design team to develop and customize lighting solutions that reflect SayPro’s branding and aesthetic standards.
   • Adapt Designs for Various Environments: Design and implement lighting solutions that are tailored to indoor and outdoor environments, focusing on both functionality and visual appeal.
   • Brand Consistency: Ensure all lighting installations align with SayPro’s brand identity, incorporating the brand’s colors, logos, and visual elements as required.
3. Quality Control and Site Inspections:
   • Conduct Site Inspections: Regularly visit installation sites to ensure proper execution of lighting plans and resolve any on-site issues that may arise.
   • Quality Assurance: Ensure all lighting installations meet SayPro’s quality standards and comply with safety regulations and codes.
   • Post-installation Reviews: Perform post-installation evaluations to assess the effectiveness and visual appeal of the lighting, ensuring it meets the project’s goals.
4. Stakeholder Communication:
   • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and consistent communication with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners to provide project updates and address concerns.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in lighting design, project coordination, or a related role, with a focus on both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of lighting systems, electrical codes, energy-efficient lighting technologies, and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, clients, contractors, and internal teams.
