Key Responsibilities:

  1. Logo Design Creation:
    • Design unique and memorable logos that align with the brand identity and the objectives of SayPro for the January SCMR-13 project.
    • Ensure logos reflect the SayPro brand’s mission, vision, and target audience while maintaining originality and creativity.
  2. Research and Concept Development:
    • Conduct thorough research on the project’s specific requirements, including understanding the nature of the monthly branding theme, target market, and project goals.
    • Collaborate with SayPro’s marketing and branding teams to understand the nuances of the design direction.
    • Develop multiple logo concepts and iterate on them based on feedback from stakeholders.
  3. Adhering to SayPro Brand Guidelines:
    • Familiarize yourself with SayPro’s established brand guidelines to ensure consistent design language throughout the logo creation.
    • Create logos that seamlessly align with the current brand aesthetics, including color palettes, typography, iconography, and overall visual tone.
  4. Logo Design Refinement:
    • Finalize the selected logo design concept, ensuring it is scalable, versatile, and effective in various sizes and formats.
    • Pay close attention to design quality, ensuring the logo maintains visual appeal and clarity across multiple platforms (print, web, social media, etc.).
  5. Brand Guidelines Documentation (If Required):
    • If necessary, document and create clear brand guidelines that accompany the logo design. This will include:
      • Logo Usage: Rules on how the logo should be used, including dos and don’ts, variations of the logo (color, black and white, etc.).
      • Color Codes: Clearly define the official color codes (e.g., HEX, RGB, Pantone) used in the logo to ensure consistency across all branding materials.
      • Spacing & Placement Rules: Define any required spacing around the logo to maintain legibility and visual integrity, ensuring the logo is never distorted or improperly placed.
  6. File Preparation & Delivery:
    • Prepare and deliver the final logo design in multiple file formats (AI, EPS, PNG, JPEG, SVG) for versatility across different media.
    • Provide a high-resolution version of the logo and other necessary design assets to SayPro’s marketing and design teams.
  7. Collaboration & Feedback:
    • Work closely with the SayPro marketing team and other stakeholders to gather feedback and refine the logo design until the final approval is achieved.
    • Be receptive to iterative feedback and make necessary adjustments to align the logo with the overall vision.
  8. Time Management & Deadlines:
    • Complete all design work within the agreed-upon timeline for the January SCMR-13 project.
    • Manage time effectively to ensure all milestones are met, from initial drafts to final delivery.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in logo design and branding, with a portfolio that demonstrates a range of successful logos across various industries.
  • Creative Skills: Strong ability to think creatively and push the boundaries of design while adhering to brand guidelines and client specifications.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to pay attention to the smallest details in design to ensure high-quality work.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to work closely with the team and understand project goals, making sure designs align with expectations.
  • Proficiency in Design Tools: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or other equivalent design software.

  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
