Job Description: Marketing and Advertising Manager for SayPro Quarterly Marketing and Advertising

Position Overview:

The Marketing and Advertising Manager for SayPro’s Quarterly Marketing and Advertising campaigns will play a crucial role in developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies for SayPro. This role is primarily focused on online platforms and will be responsible for ensuring that SayPro’s marketing objectives are achieved through effective campaign management. The Marketing and Advertising Manager will oversee the entire campaign lifecycle—from initial strategy development to post-campaign performance analysis—and collaborate closely with content, creative, and paid media teams to ensure seamless execution and measurable results.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Planning and Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work alongside SayPro’s content creation, creative, and paid media teams to develop and implement compelling and creative content for digital platforms. This includes ads, social media posts, landing pages, email newsletters, and more.
    • Strategic campaign design: Formulate targeted marketing strategies that align with SayPro’s business goals and brand objectives. This involves in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and identifying key opportunities for growth.
    • Platform-specific strategy: Develop customized strategies tailored for each platform (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring optimal reach and engagement.
    • Ensure alignment with business goals: Ensure that all campaigns reflect SayPro’s core brand message and business objectives, while also taking into consideration customer insights and trends.
  2. Campaign Execution and Management:
    • Execute digital marketing campaigns: Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple online channels. Manage campaign budgets, ad spend, and resource allocation to maximize performance.
    • Platform management: Handle day-to-day management of key advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads) to drive performance. Optimize ad creatives and targeting strategies to meet campaign goals.
    • Ad creatives and content integration: Ensure that ad creatives, landing pages, and email content are aligned with the campaign strategy, engaging the target audience effectively.
  3. Data-Driven Decision Making and Performance Optimization:
    • Analyze and adjust campaigns: Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance data to make data-driven decisions for optimization. Adjust targeting, ad creatives, bidding strategies, and other variables to ensure KPIs such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS) are met or exceeded.
    • A/B testing and optimization: Implement A/B testing across different campaign elements (e.g., ad copy, creatives, targeting) to determine the most effective strategies. Use test results to improve future campaigns.
    • Real-time campaign adjustments: Monitor campaigns in real-time, identifying and addressing performance issues promptly to ensure continuous optimization and effectiveness.
  4. Collaboration with Teams:
    • Work with creative teams: Partner with design and content teams to develop high-quality creatives and copy that align with campaign goals. Ensure that all content adheres to SayPro’s brand guidelines.
    • Coordinate with performance and analytics teams: Collaborate with performance analytics teams to gather insights and track key metrics, including CTR, conversion rates, ROAS, and cost-per-acquisition (CPA). Use these insights to guide campaign adjustments and improve future strategies.
    • Team coordination and reporting: Regularly communicate campaign progress and performance with internal stakeholders, providing updates and making recommendations for improvement.
  5. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Performance reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on campaign performance, including key metrics such as CTR, conversion rates, ROAS, and ROI. Share these reports with leadership teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
    • Post-campaign analysis: After each campaign cycle, conduct thorough post-mortems to evaluate the success of the campaign, analyze data trends, and identify areas for improvement. Use these insights to refine future campaign strategies.
  6. Brand and Market Development:
    • Innovate marketing tactics: Stay up to date on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies. Leverage these innovations to enhance SayPro’s market presence and drive improved campaign performance.
    • Collaborate with external partners: Build and maintain relationships with third-party advertising partners and influencers to explore new opportunities for growth and brand visibility.
    • Leverage SayPro Marketplace: Collaborate with the SayPro Online Marketplace Office to integrate online marketplace strategies into the overall marketing plan, increasing sales opportunities and broadening brand reach.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing digital marketing campaigns with a focus on paid media, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Instagram Ads.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other reporting platforms.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in e-commerce or working with an online marketplace.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing automation tools, email marketing platforms, and SEO strategies.
  • Knowledge of lighting industry marketing or similar product-focused industries.
