Job Description Overview: The SayPro Monthly Indoor and Outdoor Lighting – January SCMR-13 project is a key initiative under the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR, aimed at providing high-quality, energy-efficient lighting solutions for both indoor and outdoor environments. The role is designed to incorporate state-of-the-art technologies such as LED systems, smart lighting controls, and innovative designs tailored to various business environments, ensuring both sustainability and branding consistency. This position will involve collaborating with SayPro’s Marketing, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure the implementation of top-tier lighting solutions that align with SayPro’s brand values and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Energy Efficiency and Sustainability:

• Lead the implementation of energy-efficient lighting technologies, including but not limited to LED systems, to minimize energy consumption across both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Collaborate with the Sustainability Team to identify and implement smart lighting controls that can adjust to varying environmental conditions, optimizing energy use without compromising lighting quality or performance.
• Propose and implement design upgrades that ensure compliance with energy efficiency standards, such as ENERGY STAR ratings, LEED certifications, or other relevant certifications, while maintaining the aesthetic integrity of the spaces.

2. Lighting Design and Implementation:

• Design and specify branded lighting solutions for different environments, focusing on enhancing functionality, comfort, and ambiance while reinforcing SayPro’s corporate identity.
• Work closely with the SayPro Brand Material Office to ensure that all lighting installations reflect the brand’s visual guidelines and contribute to the overall customer experience.
• Ensure that all indoor and outdoor lighting designs are adaptable for a range of applications, including office spaces, retail environments, and public spaces, making use of SayPro’s design language and visual standards.

3. Project Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end process of lighting solution development, from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project budgets.
• Coordinate with the internal team, external contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth installation and operational integration of the lighting systems.
• Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and potential obstacles, offering solutions to keep projects on track.

4. Collaboration with Marketing and Branding Teams:

• Collaborate with SayPro’s Marketing Team to design lighting solutions that highlight and elevate the brand’s image during public events, launches, and seasonal campaigns.
• Ensure that lighting systems are incorporated into the design and display aspects of marketing campaigns in a way that maximizes product visibility and brand appeal.

5. Technical Expertise and Innovation:

• Stay current with the latest advancements in lighting technologies, including LED innovations, smart lighting solutions, and IoT-enabled lighting systems, and provide recommendations for their potential integration into SayPro’s lighting solutions.
• Conduct regular lighting audits to assess performance, suggest improvements, and ensure that existing lighting systems are operating at optimal energy efficiency levels.
• Implement innovative lighting techniques that integrate seamlessly with the architectural and design elements of various spaces.

6. Maintenance and Monitoring:

• Design and implement maintenance plans for SayPro’s indoor and outdoor lighting systems to ensure long-term functionality, including regular testing, bulb replacements, and updates to smart controls.
• Establish procedures for monitoring the performance of lighting systems and make data-driven decisions to improve both performance and energy efficiency over time.

7. Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure that all lighting installations comply with relevant local regulations, including electrical codes, building safety standards, and environmental sustainability guidelines.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for any safety hazards related to the installation and operation of lighting systems, ensuring a safe working environment for all involved.

8. Budget Management and Reporting:

• Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring that all lighting solutions are delivered on time and within cost parameters.
• Provide monthly reports to senior management on project status, including budget adherence, energy savings achieved, and any issues encountered.

9. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Provide training and support to clients and staff on how to best utilize the installed lighting systems, with an emphasis on energy conservation and operational efficiency.
• Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders (design, engineering, marketing, sustainability teams) and external partners (contractors, suppliers, clients) to ensure alignment and collaboration across the entire lighting project.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing both indoor and outdoor lighting systems with a focus on energy efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of LED technology, smart lighting solutions, and sustainable design practices.
• Experience with lighting controls, including automated systems and dimming controls for energy conservation.
