Purpose of the Role:

As a Consultant at MetGovis, Ayanda Ngcobo is responsible for delivering high-quality consulting services to clients, primarily within the municipal and land management sectors. The role includes implementing MetGovis software solutions, training users, and providing technical and strategic support to ensure clients achieve operational efficiency and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement and Advisory

• Engage with municipal clients to understand their spatial data, valuation roll, and property system needs.
• Provide expert advice aligned with South African municipal legislation and best practices.
• Participate in project planning, scoping, and client feedback sessions.

2. Implementation and System Support

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of MetGovis systems.
• Conduct data analysis, verification, and integration with municipal property registers and GIS platforms.
• Support clients through on-site or remote troubleshooting and system testing.

3. Training and Knowledge Transfer

• Deliver structured training sessions to municipal staff on MetGovis systems.
• Prepare user guides, training materials, and support documentation.
• Provide ongoing mentorship to enhance client capability and system independence.

4. Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive records of client engagements, system implementations, and support activities.
• Draft technical reports, client feedback summaries, and implementation checklists.
• Assist in the preparation of audit and compliance reports when required.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with MetGovis software developers, project managers, and support staff.
• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions to improve products and services.
• Contribute to the refinement of methodologies and consulting practices.
