Purpose of the Role:

As a facilitator at the MetGovis Training Academy, Janine Pillay is responsible for delivering professional, outcomes-based training in municipal property systems, spatial data management, and related regulatory frameworks. Her role ensures that learners – including municipal staff, assessors, and officials – gain practical, accredited skills to effectively use MetGovis systems and align with national legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate structured, accredited training programmes in property valuation systems, municipal data management, GIS, and legal compliance.
• Prepare, customize, and deliver training materials, manuals, assessments, and user guides.
• Conduct both theoretical and practical training sessions using blended learning methodologies (classroom, online, and workplace-based).
• Evaluate learners’ progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Offer post-training support, mentoring, and learner follow-ups to ensure workplace integration.
• Ensure all training is compliant with SAQA, QCTO, and other applicable SETA standards.
