1. Purpose

The purpose of this procedure is to provide a structured and ethical framework for the planning, coordination, and execution of the SayPro Human Capital Street Feeding Scheme. The scheme aims to provide nutritious meals to homeless and vulnerable individuals in a dignified and respectful manner.

2. Scope

This procedure applies to all SayPro Human Capital Officers, Royal Directors, Deputy Chiefs, volunteers, and partners involved in the street feeding activities coordinated by SayPro.

3. Definitions

  • Beneficiary: Any individual receiving food through the street feeding scheme.
  • Feeding Team: Group of SayPro personnel and volunteers responsible for preparing and distributing meals.
  • Royal Director: Oversees the planning and compliance of the feeding scheme.
  • Deputy Chief: Provides executive oversight and resource support.

4. Objectives

  • To ensure the delivery of safe, nutritious, and hygienic meals to beneficiaries.
  • To maintain dignity and respect for beneficiaries during all interactions.
  • To coordinate resources effectively for sustainable feeding operations.
  • To comply with all health, safety, and legal requirements.

5. Procedure

5.1 Planning and Preparation

  • Develop monthly feeding schedules approved by the Royal Director.
  • Procure food and supplies in compliance with SayPro Procurement Policy.
  • Ensure all feeding team members receive training on hygiene, safety, and beneficiary engagement.
  • Prepare meals in approved hygienic facilities.

5.2 Feeding Operations

  • Assemble feeding teams and conduct pre-distribution briefings.
  • Distribute meals at designated locations according to the schedule.
  • Maintain respectful and non-discriminatory engagement with beneficiaries.
  • Monitor and record the number of beneficiaries served using the SayPro Feeding Log (SayProF530-01).

5.3 Health and Safety

  • Follow food safety standards and guidelines at all times.
  • Ensure feeding team members use protective gear (gloves, masks, etc.) as needed.
  • Respond promptly to any health or safety incidents, reporting them with the Incident Report Form (SayProF530-02).

5.4 Monitoring and Reporting

  • Feeding Team Leader compiles weekly reports detailing activities, challenges, and beneficiary feedback.
  • Submit reports to Royal Director and Deputy Chief monthly.
  • Conduct periodic beneficiary feedback surveys to improve service delivery.
