Position Overview:
The SayPro Monthly Furniture Poster Design Branding role involves designing visually engaging and on-brand posters to showcase SayProโs high-quality furniture products for the SayPro Brand Material Office. The designer will focus on developing creative and strategic poster concepts that align with SayProโs marketing objectives, with an emphasis on emphasizing the brand’s unique selling points (USPs) for each monthly furniture feature.
This role will require collaboration with the marketing team and alignment with SayProโs overall brand guidelines and aesthetics. The designer will have the opportunity to craft visually compelling pieces that highlight the versatility, comfort, durability, and superior quality of SayProโs furniture, specifically targeting the audience of the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-13 Furniture Poster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Concept Development:
- Identify Key Furniture Features:
Focus on researching and identifying the unique selling points (USPs) of SayPro’s branded furniture products. These should include material quality, design versatility, comfort, and durability.- Highlight these attributes creatively to make them the focal point of each poster.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand the latest trends in furniture design and consumer preferences, tailoring the poster design to appeal to SayProโs target audience.
- Identify Key Furniture Features:
- Poster Design and Branding:
- Develop high-quality, visually striking posters that showcase the key USPs of SayProโs furniture range.
- Ensure the designs align with SayProโs brand identity, incorporating brand colors, typography, and logos as per the SayPro Marketing guidelines.
- Utilize appropriate imagery that emphasizes the design, comfort, durability, and versatility of the furniture.
- Produce creative mockups and layouts that appeal to potential customers and convey the intended message of quality and craftsmanship.
- Strategic Marketing Alignment:
- Collaborate closely with the SayPro Marketing team to ensure the poster design supports SayProโs monthly promotional goals and targets.
- Ensure designs align with the overall marketing campaign objectives, keeping in mind the essence of the SayPro Brand Material Officeโs monthly promotion (SayPro Monthly January SCMR-13).
- Emphasize on seasonal trends or specific product categories, adjusting visuals to fit promotions or offers as indicated in the monthly campaign brief.
- Design Revisions and Feedback Implementation:
- Work efficiently with the marketing team and stakeholders to incorporate feedback and revisions, ensuring the final product meets project goals.
- Maintain consistency in design aesthetics across all materials for the monthly campaign.
- Adjust designs for various print and digital mediums, ensuring suitability for different formats (posters, flyers, online platforms, etc.).
- Deadline Management and Collaboration:
- Adhere to project deadlines for poster designs and revisions, managing time effectively to complete designs on schedule.
- Collaborate with the creative team and other departments to refine design concepts, gather insights, and ensure the design meets the briefโs requirements.
- Post-Campaign Performance Evaluation:
- After the campaign, assist the marketing team in reviewing the effectiveness of the poster designs through customer feedback, sales data, and other KPIs.
- Implement insights for continuous improvement in the design of future campaigns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years in graphic design, preferably with experience in branding and marketing for furniture or interior design industries.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design tools.
- Creativity & Innovation: Strong creative skills with an ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure every design element is precise and consistent with brand guidelines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Understanding of Marketing Principles: Knowledge of marketing and branding strategies, particularly in visual communication, to create designs that resonate with the target audience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs Degree: A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
- Furniture Industry Experience: Experience designing marketing materials for furniture brands or home decor businesses is a plus.
- UI/UX Knowledge: Experience in designing for digital platforms and familiarity with responsive design principles.
