Purpose: To guide the development of impactful, brand-aligned infographics that convey complex information with clarity and visual appeal.
1. Purpose and Objectives
Infographics play a key role in SayPro’s communication strategy. They simplify complex data, enhance engagement, and build strong visual connections with audiences. This template serves as a foundational guide for SayPro staff, designers, and collaborators in producing consistent and brand-aligned infographics for internal and public-facing materials.
2. Branding Guidelines
a. Logo Usage
- Primary Logo: Always include the official SayPro logo in the top-left or bottom-right corner.
- Size & Spacing: Logo must be clear and not smaller than 2 cm in width. Maintain a minimum clear space around the logo equal to the height of the “S” in SayPro.
- Monochrome Option: Use white or black versions on colored backgrounds only when necessary.
b. Typography
- Heading Font: Montserrat Bold (All caps)
- Subheading Font: Montserrat Medium
- Body Font: Open Sans Regular
- Maintain proper hierarchy:
- H1 – Title (28–36 pt)
- H2 – Subsection headings (20–24 pt)
- Body text – 12–14 pt
c. Voice & Tone
- Use a professional yet friendly tone.
- Avoid jargon unless necessary for the target audience.
- Focus on clarity, actionability, and empowerment.
3. Layout Guidelines
a. Orientation
- Default: Portrait (A4 or A3)
- Optional: Landscape for dashboard-style visualizations.
b. Structure
A standard SayPro infographic should include:
- Header: Title and subtitle
- Introduction: A short overview or summary (2–3 sentences)
- Main Body: Visual breakdown using:
- Charts (bar, pie, line)
- Icons
- Callout boxes
- Numbered data points
- Conclusion: Summary or call-to-action (CTA)
- Footer: Sources, date, and SayPro logo
c. Grid System
- Use a 12-column grid for flexible layout and consistent spacing.
- Maintain at least 20px padding between elements.
- Use alignment and hierarchy to guide the reader’s eye.
4. Color Scheme

5. Iconography & Imagery
- Use SayPro’s custom icon set when possible.
- All icons must be flat design, 2D, and monochromatic unless otherwise stated.
- Avoid stock photos unless brand-approved.
- Use illustrations that align with SayPro’s people-first, innovation-driven identity.
6. Data Visualization Standards
- Bar Charts: For comparisons
- Pie Charts: For percentages (max 5 slices)
- Line Charts: For trends over time
- Infographic Numbers: Use large, bold figures with context
Always label axes, sources, and include legends if more than one data set is presented.
7. File Formats & Deliverables
- Editable File: Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or Figma (.fig)
- Final Output: PDF (print and web), PNG (web), JPG (social media)
- Resolution: 300 DPI for print, 150 DPI for digital
8. Review & Approval Process
- Submit all designs to the SayPro Brand Material Office for review.
- Allow 3–5 working days for feedback.
- All final infographics must be archived in the SayPro Marketing Royalty (SCMR) Asset Repository.
