Graphic Designer – SayPro Monthly Icons Project (January SCMR-13)


Department:

SayPro Marketing Royalty (SCMR)
Reports To: SayPro Brand Material Office


Job Purpose:

To design, review, and distribute custom visual iconography that aligns with SayPro’s established brand identity and supports ongoing marketing and communications initiatives for January, under project SCMR-13.


Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

1. Icon Design & Development

  • Design Custom Icons:
    Create a full set of visually consistent icons tailored specifically for SayPro Monthly January deliverables. These icons must strictly follow the SayPro brand style guide, including:
    • Color palette
    • Typography and line weight
    • Rounded or sharp edges depending on SayPro’s design aesthetic
    • Scalability and legibility across digital and print formats
  • Creative Ideation:
    Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh design ideas that enhance brand storytelling through visual icons.
  • Style Consistency:
    Ensure the new icons are consistent with existing SayPro icon sets and overall visual language.

2. Review and Quality Assurance

  • Internal Review:
    Collaborate with the SayPro Brand Material Office to conduct multiple rounds of internal reviews for feedback and refinement.
  • Quality Control:
    Validate each icon for:
    • Correct dimensions and pixel-perfect alignment
    • Cross-platform compatibility (web, mobile, print)
    • Accessibility and visual clarity
    • Proper file naming and organization
  • Versioning and Updates:
    Maintain a well-documented version control process to track updates and changes during the review cycle.

3. File Preparation & Distribution

  • Export Formats:
    Prepare final icon sets in required formats (SVG, PNG, EPS, PDF, etc.), optimized for use in various SayPro platforms and marketing materials.
  • Asset Organization:
    Organize and label design files for easy use by marketing, product, and development teams.
  • Distribution:
    Deliver final assets to the designated SayPro repositories or digital asset management (DAM) systems for internal team access.

4. Reporting & Collaboration

  • Status Reporting:
    Provide regular progress updates to the SayPro Brand Material Office and SCMR leadership on milestones, blockers, and deliverables.
  • Collaboration Tools:
    Utilize SayPro-approved platforms (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Asana, etc.) for project management, design work, and communication.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Strong portfolio in icon and UI/UX design
  • Proficiency in vector design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Figma)
  • Understanding of branding principles and consistency
  • Attention to detail and high visual standards
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
