Position Summary: The SayPro Monthly Material Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that materials used for SayPro Monthly productions adhere to the highest standards of quality, durability, and branding integrity. This role is vital to maintaining SayPro’s reputation for providing products that are not only functional but also enhance the brand perception. The specialist will work in close collaboration with the SayPro Marketing team and the material production units, implementing effective quality control systems throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control System Implementation:
   • Design and implement a robust, standardized system for monitoring and controlling material quality at all stages of production.
   • Conduct checks during material production runs and after shipment to ensure that the materials used in SayPro Monthly meet the required quality standards.
   • Develop and enforce procedures for quality audits, including random sampling and full material inspections.
2. Material Selection & Durability:
   • Choose materials that meet SayPro’s durability standards, ensuring that all products protect the contents effectively and withstand normal wear and tear.
   • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality materials that align with SayPro’s brand and product goals.
   • Evaluate the environmental impact and sustainability of selected materials, aiming for eco-friendly options wherever possible.
3. Product Enhancement & Brand Perception:
   • Ensure that all materials used in production are in line with SayPro’s brand guidelines and positively influence consumer perception.
   • Work closely with the marketing team to guarantee that materials not only perform well but also enhance the overall branding of SayPro products.
   • Contribute to the development of new materials that can elevate product aesthetics and functionality, maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
4. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
   • Liaise with the SayPro Marketing team to ensure alignment between product material selections and marketing strategies.
   • Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and proper storage of materials, maintaining quality throughout the supply chain.
   • Participate in cross-functional meetings to address any issues related to material quality or production delays, contributing proactive solutions.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate and detailed records of material quality assessments, inspection reports, and test results.
   • Provide monthly reports to the SayPro Brand Material Office, detailing material quality performance, issues identified, and actions taken.
   • Track material quality trends and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality in future production cycles.
6. Supplier & Vendor Management:
   • Work closely with vendors to ensure that the materials meet SayPro’s specific quality standards before production begins.
   • Conduct regular evaluations of material suppliers to assess performance, reliability, and ability to meet production deadlines.
   • Provide feedback and guidance to vendors to help them improve material quality in line with SayPro’s expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in material quality control or related fields, preferably in a manufacturing or marketing context.
• Strong understanding of material properties, including durability, performance, and environmental impact.
• Proficiency in quality control methodologies, including statistical process control, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills:

• Experience working in a marketing or branding environment is a plus.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decisions and improvements.
• Proficiency in quality control software and tools.
