This policy establishes a clear framework for preventing, identifying, reporting, and addressing all forms of abuse within SayPro. The policy ensures the protection of dignity, safety, and well-being for all SayPro Human Capital (HC), beneficiaries, learners, clients, volunteers, and affiliated personnel. - 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲
This policy applies to:
- All SayPro Human Capital (employees, contractors, interns, volunteers)
- SayPro Royal Directors, Officers, and Executives
- SayPro beneficiaries, students, and clients
- External service providers working under SayPro programs
- 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲
Abuse includes (but is not limited to):
- Physical abuse
- Emotional or psychological abuse
- Sexual abuse or harassment
- Verbal abuse or intimidation
- Financial exploitation or fraud
- Neglect or abandonment
- Digital abuse, including cyberbullying and data misuse
- 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
- SayPro has zero tolerance for any form of abuse.
- All Human Capital are required to report suspected abuse immediately.
- Reports will be treated confidentially, and no retaliation will be tolerated.
- All complaints will be investigated fairly and promptly.
- Disciplinary action, including termination and legal referral, will be taken where appropriate.

5.1 Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
- Overall accountability for abuse policy enforcement
- Makes final decisions in escalated cases
5.2 Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO)
- Oversees implementation and training of abuse prevention mechanisms
- Coordinates investigations and compliance tracking
5.3 Royal Directors and Officers
- Enforce abuse policy within their teams or projects
- Receive and respond to initial reports
5.4 All SayPro Human Capital
- Understand and adhere to this policy
- Immediately report any known or suspected abuse

6.1 How to Report
Reports of abuse may be submitted via:
- Direct Supervisor or Royal Officer
- Email: confidential@saypro.org
- Anonymous submission via SayPro Abuse Reporting Form (SayProF002-01)
- Emergency hotline: [Insert contact details]
6.2 What to Report
Include details such as:
- Name(s) of individuals involved
- Nature and timing of the incident(s)
- Any evidence or witnesses
- Your name/contact (optional if anonymous)
6.3 Investigation & Action
- Initial review within 48 hours
- Investigation by Governance, Legal, and HC teams
- Final action taken within 10–20 business days
- Outcome shared confidentially with relevant stakeholders
- 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
- All reporters are protected under SayPro’s Whistleblower Protection Guidelines
- Confidentiality is maintained throughout the reporting and investigative process
- Support is provided to victims and those affected, including referrals to legal or counseling services
- 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
- All SayPro Human Capital receive training during onboarding
- Annual refreshers will reinforce awareness and safe practices
- Posters, infographics, and digital awareness campaigns will be implemented
- 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀
- Verbal or written warning
- Suspension or removal from projects
- Termination of contract or employment
- Legal reporting to external authorities (if criminal)

- The policy will be reviewed every 12 months or after a major abuse-related event
- Records of investigations and outcomes must be retained securely for 5 years
- Any non-compliance will be escalated to the Governance Committee

Q1: Can I report anonymously?
A: Yes, you may use the anonymous form (SayProF002-01).
Q2: Will I get in trouble for reporting abuse?
A: No. SayPro guarantees protection from retaliation.
Q3: What if my report is proven wrong?
A: If made in good faith, there are no penalties. Malicious or false reporting may result in action.
Q4: What if the accused is my supervisor?
A: Reports can be made directly to the CHCO or CEO to avoid conflict of interest.
Q5: Who investigates the cases?
A: A panel of SayPro Governance, HC, and Legal team members with oversight from the CHCO.

All SayPro Human Capital must sign the SayPro Abuse Policy Acknowledgement Form (SayProF002-06) annually.
