- All SayPro Human Capital professionals, Executives, and Board Members involved in apprenticeship management.
- SayPro Apprentices, Supervisors, and Mentors.

- External institutions (e.g., training providers, educational bodies) collaborating with SayPro.
4. Apprenticeship Management Process
4.1 Initiating the Apprenticeship Program
- The Royal Directors will identify areas where apprenticeships can be implemented based on department needs and organizational strategy.
- SayPro Human Capital (HC) will work with the Royal Directors to define the specific apprenticeship roles, skills, and learning outcomes.
- An Apprenticeship Program Request Form (SayProF033-01) will be completed by the Royal Director and submitted for approval.
4.2 Recruitment and Selection
- SayPro HC will advertise apprenticeship opportunities through internal and external channels, focusing on attracting a diverse range of candidates.
- The recruitment process will involve screening candidates for skills, qualifications, and potential for development in the role.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews with Royal Directors or appointed panels to assess their suitability.
- Once a candidate is selected, they will receive an Apprenticeship Offer Letter (SayProF033-02) confirming the terms and conditions of the apprenticeship.
4.3 Training and Mentorship
- Apprentices will undergo a structured learning program as outlined in the apprenticeship agreement, which may include a combination of on-the-job training and formal educational modules.
- Mentors will be appointed to guide the apprentices, providing them with day-to-day support and helping them achieve their learning objectives.
- Royal Directors will be responsible for overseeing the apprentices’ progress and ensuring that their training aligns with department needs.
4.4 Progress Monitoring and Evaluation
- Regular performance reviews will be conducted to assess the apprentice’s progress against predefined milestones.
- SayPro HC will track and maintain records of the apprentice’s achievements, including feedback from mentors and managers.
- Apprentices will be expected to meet certain performance standards as part of their apprenticeship program.
4.5 Completion and Certification
- Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship program, apprentices will be awarded a certificate of completion or qualification based on their training and performance.
- SayPro HC will issue a Completion Letter (SayProF033-03) confirming the apprentice’s success and eligibility for potential future employment.
5. Types of Apprenticeships
5.1 Paid Apprenticeships
These apprenticeships provide financial compensation to apprentices and are typically offered for roles that require a combination of on-the-job training and academic learning.
5.2 Unpaid Apprenticeships
These apprenticeships are offered to individuals seeking practical experience but may not offer direct financial compensation. Such programs might be available under certain agreements with educational institutions.
5.3 Apprenticeship for Current Employees
Existing SayPro employees may be offered apprenticeships for skill development or career progression into new roles within the company.
6. Roles & Responsibilities
6.1 SayPro Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
- Approves overall strategy and objectives for the apprenticeship program.
- Ensures alignment with company goals and industry standards.
6.2 SayPro Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO)
- Oversees the administration and execution of the apprenticeship program.
- Ensures compliance with all apprenticeship laws and policies.
- Supports mentors and departments in the management of apprenticeships.
6.3 SayPro Royal Directors
- Identify areas for apprenticeships within their departments.
- Approve selection of apprentices and ensure the apprenticeship programs meet department-specific needs.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices throughout the program.
6.4 Mentors
- Provide training, guidance, and feedback to apprentices on a daily basis.
- Ensure apprentices are meeting learning objectives and work expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for apprentices throughout the program.
6.5 SayPro Human Capital (HC)
- Manages apprentice recruitment, onboarding, and placement.
- Coordinates training schedules and keeps track of progress through performance reviews.
- Maintains records and documentation for apprenticeships.
6.6 Apprentices
- Adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in the Apprenticeship Agreement.
- Actively engage in the learning and development opportunities provided.
- Ensure timely completion of assignments and training tasks.
