  1. Purpose

This policy establishes the SayPro framework for managing all teaching and learning initiatives across the organisation, ensuring consistent quality, relevance, and inclusivity aligned with SayPro’s mission to empower communities through education and capacity building.

  • SayPro Accredited Trainers, Facilitators, and Assessors
  • SayPro Human Capital (learners, students, interns, trainees)
  • Royal Directors, Officers, and Curriculum Developers
  • SayPro learning programs (online, in-person, hybrid, informal)
  1. Definitions
  • Human Capital: Any learner, student, participant, intern, or beneficiary of SayPro learning services
  • Teaching & Learning: All formal and informal activities that promote knowledge transfer, skills development, and critical thinking
  • Facilitator: A registered SayPro trainer delivering learning sessions
  • Learning Pathway: A structured academic or vocational journey tailored to specific learner needs

  • Promote consistent instructional quality across all SayPro platforms
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Foster inclusive, student-centered, and outcomes-based learning
  • Implement ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and improvement practices
  1. Roles and Responsibilities

5.1 SayPro Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO)

  • Oversees overall governance of teaching and learning strategies
  • Approves learning policies and performance criteria

5.2 SayPro Royal Directors

  • Ensure alignment of learning programs with sector-specific needs
  • Authorise facilitators, assessors, and learning content

5.3 SayPro Officers

  • Provide learning support services to Human Capital
  • Monitor engagement, retention, and progression

5.4 Facilitators and Assessors

  • Deliver high-quality, learner-centred instruction
  • Maintain assessment integrity and report outcomes

5.5 Human Capital (Learners)

  • Engage actively in assigned programs and submit feedback
  • Comply with the code of conduct and learning objectives
  1. Teaching and Learning Processes

6.1 Curriculum Design & Approval

  • Developed by SayPro Curriculum Unit
  • Reviewed and approved by the Royal Director
  • Must be outcomes-based and aligned to SAQA/NQF (where applicable)

6.2 Learning Delivery

  • Modes: Online, In-Person, Hybrid
  • All facilitators must be registered and vetted
  • Learning must include interactive, inclusive, and experiential elements

6.3 Assessment & Moderation

  • Assessment conducted per approved rubrics and unit standards
  • Moderation is independent and conducted quarterly
  • Learner portfolios are retained for audit purposes

6.4 Certification

  • Certification issued after successful completion and validation
  • Process managed by the SayPro Accreditation Unit

6.5 Feedback and Evaluation

  • Post-training evaluations collected from Human Capital
  • Facilitator and course review sessions every quarter
  • Reports submitted to CHCO and CEO

A: Only registered and approved facilitators with subject matter expertise and aligned qualifications.

A: Learners will be allowed one reassessment opportunity. Further remediation must be arranged with their Officer.

Q3: Are SayPro learning programs accredited?
A: Many programs are accredited with SETAs and international bodies. Non-accredited programs follow a formal quality assurance process.

Q4: How is feedback used?
A: Feedback is used for facilitator development, course redesign, and improving learner experiences.
