SayPro Position: Data Analyst – Marketing Analytics
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join the Marketing Analytics Team at SayPro. This role involves analyzing marketing data, generating actionable insights, and providing data-driven recommendations to optimize our marketing strategies. As a Data Analyst specializing in Marketing Analytics, you will work closely with marketing teams, senior leadership, and other stakeholders to measure and enhance the performance of marketing campaigns, evaluate ROI, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Analysis:
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various marketing channels (social media, email marketing, paid search ads, etc.).
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets to assess campaign effectiveness.
- Generate reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Marketing Performance Evaluation:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROI, conversion rates, engagement rates, and customer acquisition costs.
- Perform in-depth analysis to measure the success of various marketing channels and campaigns.
- Identify high-performing channels and recommend adjustments to improve underperforming ones.
- Reporting & Presentations:
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing key findings, insights, and actionable recommendations.
- Present findings to senior leadership and marketing teams to inform strategic decisions.
- Assist in setting up KPIs and monitoring their progress regularly.
- Campaign Optimization:
- Provide recommendations on optimizing marketing strategies, customer targeting, and content.
- Use predictive analytics and data modeling to forecast trends and suggest new opportunities.
- Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to improve campaign performance.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment between data insights and campaign goals.
- Support decision-making processes with data-driven insights that influence budget allocations, targeting strategies, and creative content.
- Advanced Analytics:
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques such as regression analysis, machine learning models, and statistical analysis to evaluate and predict marketing outcomes.
- Continuously refine analytics methodologies and leverage cutting-edge tools to stay ahead of industry trends.
Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Excel, Python, R, and Google Analytics.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation platforms (Mailchimp, Marketo).
- Marketing Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (e.g., social media, email marketing, SEO, paid search).
- Experience in analyzing and reporting on marketing KPIs such as CTR, CPC, CPA, CLV, and ROI.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and present clear, actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to create compelling reports and presentations tailored to different audiences.
- Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the marketing or e-commerce sectors.
- Experience working with marketing data and using data analysis tools to measure and improve campaign performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with machine learning models and predictive analytics.
- Familiarity with advanced SQL queries, data warehousing, and integration of marketing platforms.
- Certifications in tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Data Science are a plus.
