Job Purpose:

To ensure the professional implementation, print preparation, and physical distribution of the SayPro Monthly Furniture Poster Design Branding campaign. The January edition (SCMR-13) must showcase branded SayPro furniture with precision, consistency, and strategic alignment to the SayPro branding guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Implementation:

  • Collaborate with the SayPro Brand Material Office to finalize poster designs.
  • Ensure each design adheres strictly to SayPro’s branding standards (logo usage, font hierarchy, color codes, imagery).
  • Apply layout consistency for all poster sizes and formats (A3, A2, A1).
  • Incorporate key January campaign themes and furniture highlights as per the SayPro Monthly creative brief.

2. Print-Ready File Preparation:

  • Convert final designs into print-ready formats (PDF/X-1a:2001 preferred).
  • Include bleed and crop marks as required by printing standards.
  • Ensure high-resolution images (300 DPI minimum) and color profiles (CMYK) are correctly embedded.
  • Double-check for spelling, alignment, and print safety margins.

3. Print Vendor Coordination:

  • Source and liaise with approved SayPro printing vendors.
  • Submit artwork and technical specs to vendors in a timely manner.
  • Approve printer proofs or digital samples before full-scale production.
  • Coordinate production timelines to ensure delivery meets campaign schedules.

4. Distribution Planning:

  • Create a distribution plan for physical posters based on SayPro regional presence and target locations.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team for transportation and delivery of posters.
  • Confirm poster quantities for each location as per the SayPro SCMR-13 deployment plan.
  • Track deliveries and confirm receipt at destination points.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain organized folders of design source files, print-ready files, vendor invoices, and delivery confirmations.
  • Submit an end-of-month implementation report summarizing:
    • Design versions produced
    • Print specifications
    • Distribution list and timeline
    • Vendor feedback or challenges
    • Suggestions for next month’s SCMR poster rollout

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Understanding of print production and finishing processes
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong file management and version control
  • Time management and ability to meet tight deadlines

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in print design and branding
  • Experience working with print vendors and preparing files for large-format print
  • Prior involvement in a monthly branding or publication cycle is an advantage
