Job Overview:
The SayPro Monthly Indoor and Outdoor Lighting (SCMR-13) role is focused on providing innovative, branded lighting solutions for various environments while ensuring project goals are met in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires design, implementation, and project management of lighting strategies for both indoor and outdoor spaces as part of SayPro’s ongoing marketing campaigns.

The individual in this role will be responsible for producing designs and executing lighting solutions that enhance the environment while keeping the SayPro brand’s identity at the forefront. The role will also involve regular reporting on the progress of projects and addressing any challenges to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lighting Design and Strategy Development:
    • Create branded lighting solutions tailored for diverse indoor and outdoor spaces, such as offices, retail spaces, event venues, and public areas.
    • Collaborate with design teams to ensure lighting solutions align with the branding objectives and the aesthetic guidelines established by SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.
    • Develop detailed lighting layouts and schematics for both aesthetic and functional lighting that complements the overall design concept.
  2. Project Management and Coordination:
    • Oversee the execution of lighting projects, ensuring all phases, from conceptualization to installation, are carried out according to the approved design.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, operations, and marketing to maintain project alignment and efficient progress.
    • Ensure that all lighting installations meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  3. Vendor and Supplier Relations:
    • Source and coordinate with vendors and suppliers for lighting materials, fixtures, and equipment necessary for indoor and outdoor installations.
    • Manage supplier timelines and deliverables to ensure that the project stays within budget and schedule.
    • Negotiate pricing and contracts for lighting materials, ensuring optimal cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality.
  4. Regular Reporting:
    • Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on the status of lighting designs, installations, and potential risks or delays.
    • Highlight project milestones, any challenges faced, and the solutions implemented to address them.
    • Maintain detailed project documentation, including design plans, installation schedules, and vendor communications.
  5. Risk Management and Solutions:
    • Proactively identify any risks that could affect the timely delivery of lighting projects, such as supply chain issues, installation delays, or design revisions.
    • Develop and implement solutions to mitigate risks, ensuring the continuity of project timelines and budgets.
    • Regularly review lighting project designs to ensure they continue to meet the aesthetic, functional, and budgetary expectations.
  6. Stakeholder Communication:

  8. Budget and Resource Management:
    • Ensure the lighting project stays within the allocated budget, carefully tracking expenditures for materials, labor, and equipment.
    • Optimize resource allocation and manage staffing for installations, ensuring that the right skills and equipment are available for project completion.
  9. Innovation and Creativity:
    • Keep up to date with the latest lighting technology and trends to ensure SayPro’s lighting solutions remain innovative and competitive.
    • Recommend new lighting techniques, systems, or approaches that could enhance the design or functionality of future projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in lighting design, project management, or a related field. Previous experience in branded marketing or similar projects is a plus.
  • Education: Degree or certification in Lighting Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., Dialux, AGi32, AutoCAD).
    • Strong project management skills, with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating resources.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex project challenges.
