Objective:

This will guide the creative process for developing innovative and brand-aligned poster concepts that will resonate with SayPro’s target audience.


Tasks to Be Done:

1. Research Design Trends in the Furniture Industry

  • Analyze Current Furniture Design Trends:
    • Conduct research on the latest design trends in the furniture industry, focusing on color palettes, materials, shapes, and styles that are trending in modern furniture design.
    • Study industry reports, design blogs, social media platforms, and home décor magazines to gather insights into the popular furniture aesthetics that attract consumers.
    • Identify emerging design themes (e.g., eco-friendly, minimalist, multifunctional furniture, sustainable materials) that align with SayPro’s product offerings and customer values.
    • Compile the information into a trend report highlighting key visual themes, materials, and color schemes that could inspire the poster designs.
  • Examine Visual Styles in Furniture Marketing:
    • Investigate how leading furniture brands present their products visually through advertisements, catalogs, and posters. Focus on layout, product photography, typography, and other key design elements used in marketing materials.
    • Research how the use of lighting, mood, and settings in product photography influences consumer perception and emotional appeal.
    • Note how target audience preferences are reflected in the marketing visuals, including the use of lifestyle images versus pure product shots.

2. Analyze Competitor Posters and Marketing Campaigns

  • Competitor Poster Review:
    • Select a list of top competitors in the furniture industry, including both local and global brands.
    • Collect examples of marketing posters and other visual media (e.g., online banners, social media posts) from these competitors’ current or past campaigns.
    • Assess the style and composition of these posters—note their use of color, typography, layout, and imagery. Focus on how they showcase their products and how effectively they communicate brand messaging.
  • Evaluate Campaign Performance:
    • Review any available data or case studies related to the success or failure of competitor marketing campaigns, focusing on how their posters contributed to sales or brand awareness.
