Purpose: Use these interviews to gather deeper insights into participants’ learning experiences and outcomes.


Objective:

To go beyond survey data and gain rich, qualitative insights into how participants perceived SayPro’s training—what they learned, how they’re applying it, and what could be improved.


Key Focus Areas During Interviews

  1. Learning Experience
    • How participants engaged with the training format and materials
    • Perceptions of the trainer/facilitator effectiveness
    • Relevance and clarity of the content
  2. Learning Outcomes
    • Skills or knowledge participants gained
    • How the training has been applied in their roles
    • Any observed changes in performance, behavior, or mindset
  3. Suggestions for Improvement
    • What participants felt was missing or unclear
    • Ideas for enhancing content or delivery
    • Preferred training formats or future topics of interest

Interview Guidelines

  • Approach: Semi-structured conversations guided by prepared questions but flexible enough to explore new themes as they arise.
  • Duration: 20–30 minutes per participant.
  • Medium: Virtual (e.g., Zoom, Teams) or in-person, based on participant preference.
  • Recording/Notes: Always request permission to record or take notes for accuracy.

  • “Can you walk us through what you found most valuable in the training?”
  • “Was there anything unclear or challenging during the sessions?”
  • “Have you been able to apply anything from the training in your daily work?”
  • “What impact has this training had on your performance or confidence?”

  • Summarize key insights immediately after each interview.
