Position Title: Installation Technician

Department: SayPro Brand Material Office, SayPro Marketing Royalty

Location: Varies by project location

Reports To: Installation Manager / Project Lead

Job Purpose: The Installation Technician is responsible for ensuring that materials (e.g., signage, promotional displays, advertisements) are installed in a manner that maximizes visibility, enhances brand impact, and adheres to safety standards outlined by SayPro’s Monthly January SCMR-13 (Supply Chain Management Report) guidelines. The goal is to ensure that all installations are professional, effective, and aligned with the company’s marketing strategy while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation Planning and Preparation:
    • Review installation specifications, including project objectives, material types, and placement locations.
    • Understand and adhere to the SayPro Marketing Royalty guidelines as outlined in the Monthly SCMR-13 for the professional and safe installation of materials.
    • Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing Royalty team to ensure alignment of installation with branding and marketing goals.
    • Ensure all necessary equipment and materials are prepared for the installation process before arriving on site.
    • Confirm that all safety protocols are in place before starting the installation process.
  2. Installation Execution:
    • Install materials (signage, displays, etc.) in a manner that maximizes visibility, impact, and aesthetic appeal.
    • Ensure all installations are carried out with precision and attention to detail, following the design specifications set by the SayPro Brand Material Office.
    • Ensure the proper alignment and positioning of materials to enhance their effectiveness and brand impact.
    • Install materials while maintaining a safe environment, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines to avoid injury or property damage.
  3. Safety Compliance:
    • Follow the safety standards outlined in the SayPro Monthly SCMR-13 and ensure that all materials are securely fastened and positioned in accordance with safety protocols.
    • Utilize appropriate safety equipment (e.g., gloves, helmets, harnesses) as required during installations, especially for high-risk placements.
    • Perform risk assessments before and during installation to mitigate any hazards associated with the work environment.
    • Adhere to industry standards, local laws, and regulations regarding installation practices.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct a post-installation inspection to ensure that all materials are properly installed and functioning as intended.
    • Ensure all materials are free from defects, and if any issues are identified, immediately report them to the Installation Manager for resolution.
    • Verify that all installations are fully aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and marketing goals.
    • Take photos and document each installation for quality control and future reference.
  5. Customer and Team Communication:
    • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, project leads, and other team members throughout the installation process.
    • Provide regular updates on the progress of installations to project managers and team leads.
    • Address any questions or concerns from clients during or after the installation to ensure satisfaction.
  6. Post-Installation Duties:
    • Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored and accounted for after installation.
    • Clean up the installation site, leaving the area tidy and free from debris or leftover materials.
    • Provide feedback on installation processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Assist with the deinstallation or relocation of materials as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in installation or construction preferred.
  • Proven experience in installation of promotional materials, signage, or displays.
  • Knowledge of basic construction tools, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with SayPro’s marketing and branding guidelines, including those outlined in the SCMR-13 report.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and project leads.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
