Job Description & Tasks: Poster Content Creation

Job Title: Poster Content Creator (SayPro Monthly Posters Design Branding)

Department: Marketing / Brand Material Office

Reports to: SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR

Position Overview: The Poster Content Creator plays a key role in the creation of visually appealing and brand-aligned posters for SayPro’s monthly campaigns, specifically focusing on the January SCMR-13 poster. This role is responsible for developing content that aligns with SayPro’s brand identity and communicates the message effectively through clear, structured design elements. The Poster Content Creator will collaborate with the SayPro Brand Material Office and ensure that all posters meet brand standards, are visually engaging, and guide the viewer’s attention to the most important aspects of the message.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Design and Visual Hierarchy
    • Organize and prioritize the content within the poster to guide the viewer’s attention efficiently and effectively.
    • Ensure that the most crucial aspects of the message (i.e., key dates, promotions, events, or brand messages) are prominently displayed and easy to identify.
    • Use techniques such as typography, size, color, spacing, and contrast to establish a clear visual hierarchy.
  2. Branding and Consistency
    • Ensure that all poster designs align with SayPro’s established brand identity, including color schemes, fonts, logos, and visual tone.
    • Work closely with the SayPro Marketing team to ensure all designs reflect the company’s current marketing objectives and messaging.
    • Review SayPro’s brand guidelines and apply them to each poster creation to maintain consistency across all marketing materials.
  3. Creative Concept Development
    • Collaborate with the SayPro Brand Material Office to understand the core messaging and target audience for each monthly campaign.
    • Brainstorm creative concepts and design elements that resonate with the intended audience while staying true to SayPro’s values and goals.
    • Produce multiple design drafts, presenting various options for feedback and refinement.
  4. Poster Design Execution
    • Utilize design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other tools to create professional-level posters.
    • Pay close attention to layout, typography, image quality, and overall composition.
    • Maintain a high standard of visual appeal while ensuring that the design elements do not overwhelm the message.
  5. Feedback and Revisions
    • Review design feedback from the SayPro Marketing team and incorporate any changes as needed to improve the final poster.
    • Ensure that all revisions are made efficiently and are in line with SayPro’s brand messaging and visual identity.
  6. Collaboration and Communication
    • Work in close collaboration with the SayPro Brand Material Office and SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR to align design goals with the broader marketing strategy.
    • Maintain open communication channels for feedback and updates during the poster design process.
    • Manage multiple poster design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
  7. Final Quality Check and Delivery
    • Ensure that the final design is print-ready and meets quality standards for both digital and physical formats.
    • Deliver final posters in appropriate formats for distribution (e.g., high-resolution PDFs, JPGs, or other file types).
    • Ensure that all elements of the design are properly optimized for print and digital displays.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education:
    A degree or relevant certification in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on poster design, advertising materials, or similar creative content. Experience in branding is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
    • Strong understanding of color theory, typography, composition, and design principles
    • Ability to create high-quality, print-ready files in different formats
    • Basic knowledge of web design principles and digital content optimization
  • Creative and Conceptual Skills:
    • Strong creative skills with the ability to brainstorm and execute innovative ideas
