Kgotso a ebe le lena.

On behalf of the SayPro Committee, SayPro Human Capital and SayPro beneficiaries I herewith send our deepest appreciation to the invitation to the National Day of Prayer 2024.

This invitation to the event and the agenda really made me question how I handle myself as a leader in Development. It made me question myself if coming to the session have I really fixed myself. I asked myself when the prayer is held does it mean I am going to be the example or the prayer will capture me.

I am in the midst of thousands of young people who look up to us to provide solutions for them on a daily basis and yet as leaders we fail them as on the journey we forget our purpose and focus on shortcuts and making mistakes that will never be corrected.

Having listened to all the prayers from the Religious leaders gives me an honour and endless homework for me to go and fix our ways.

As a Development Leader I take an oath to fix our house and to take the stand to ensure that we work tirelesly to solve the problems which the communities which we serve faces.

Thank you once again for the invitation.
