Position Overview: The employee working on the SayPro Monthly Material will play a pivotal role in supporting SayPro’s sustainability initiatives. They will ensure that the materials used align with the company’s commitment to eco-friendliness and sustainability while maintaining high standards of durability, product protection, and brand perception.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sustainability Implementation:
   • Prioritize eco-friendly and sustainable material choices for the SayPro Monthly Material. This includes selecting materials that are renewable, recyclable, or sourced from sustainable practices.
   • Ensure that all materials adhere to environmental standards and certifications, working with suppliers who prioritize sustainability.
   • Collaborate with relevant departments (Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, and Product Development) to identify and implement sustainable options in material sourcing.
2. Material Selection & Protection:
   • Choose durable materials that offer long-term protection for SayPro’s products. The goal is to safeguard product integrity during shipping and storage while enhancing customer satisfaction.
   • Evaluate the environmental impact of the materials selected, ensuring that they are not only protective but also have minimal environmental consequences.
3. Enhancing Brand Perception:
   • Ensure that the chosen materials align with SayPro’s brand identity and image. This includes selecting materials that reflect the company’s values and commitment to sustainability.
   • Work closely with the SayPro Marketing team to incorporate these materials into the company’s messaging and marketing strategies, ensuring that sustainability efforts are communicated effectively to consumers.
4. Coordination with SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR:
   • Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to ensure that the materials used in the SayPro Monthly material reflect the brand’s sustainability commitment.
   • Align with the SayPro Brand Material Office to maintain consistency in material choices, ensuring that they enhance the overall aesthetic, appeal, and perception of the SayPro brand.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
   • Maintain detailed records of material choices, sustainability certifications, and supplier details for transparency.
   • Regularly report on the progress of sustainability goals related to the SayPro Monthly Material and propose improvements as necessary.
6. Compliance and Quality Control:
   • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and industry standards, including the SCMR-13 guidelines.
   • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure the materials used meet the required standards for durability, protection, and brand alignment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• In-depth understanding of sustainability practices in materials selection and sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of eco-friendly materials, certifications, and suppliers.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain Management.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize materials that align with both environmental sustainability and brand objectives.
• Strong communication skills to liaise between different departments and stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

• The position will be office-based, with occasional travel for supplier visits or product assessments.
